In particular, the property is only 29 minutes away from the location of the FIFA World Cup Final Match at MetLife Stadium, which will also be hosting other World Cup Matches.

It is child and pet friendly with a large property. Take the Palisades Parkway in the opposite direction of NYC, and in under 30 minutes you will have access to some of the best hiking and outdoor area's in all of New York State, Including the historic Bear Mt .Lodge, Zoo and recreation areas. Come and experience the beauty, comfort and unbeatable location of this lovely 6 bedroom house that has just undergone an extensive renovation. At 3,716 square feet, this handsome & comfortable home with 4 fireplaces features a huge living room, formal dining room, open kitchen and family room w/ wet bar, as well as laundry, an additional room comfortable room on the first floor that can be used as a daytime office with a daybed and/or an additional bedroom. Large smart Tv's are in each communal room. There is a stone patio off of the kitchen with barbecue for entertaining & summer meals. The 2nd floor boasts the large master bedroom suite w/fireplace, a brand new master bath & a 900sf private terrace. 2 additional well proportioned bedrooms & a bathroom completes the 2nd floor. The finished Third floor consists of 2 bedrooms with queen beds & another largeLounge area with a work desk/hangout and a sectional couch equipped with game consoles . This spectacular home sits on a private 1.22 acre flat land & has ample of parking. Private yard fantastic for relaxing. Minimum of 30 night stay per town code.

Our week was wonderful. The house was perfect. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed their stay. I cant say enough about the home and location. It was perfect. The owners are so nice.

Charming Newly Renovated House

We spent three nights at this lovely property in April. The house is recently renovated and has all new bathrooms, new kitchen and appliances, new and very comfortables beds, etc. So it has the charm of an older craftsman style house with all new amenties. In total 12 of us slept there in the 6 different bedrooms. We never felt tight or cramped. There is ample room in the kitchen area, as well as a separate dining room and two very large family rooms. We had a perfect weather day and we spent the afternoon outside on the deck where there is also a built in barbeque. There is also a very large terrace on the second floor that has some additional seating too. The kitchen had expected plates, bowls, cups, serving bowls, silverware, cooking utensils and pots/pans. It also had a Keurig and blender. The property itself is located just a minute off the Palisades Parkway and made it easy to get to our destinations in Rockland county, as well as Westchester county (15 min) and Manhattan (30 min). There was enough parking for at least 3 cars. The owner lives in the cottage house on premise which was very comforting for us in case we needed anything. This was a huge help as spent the entire day driving in and he was very accommodating and had no issues with us arriving late at night. When we had a question, he responded quickly and was over the top in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He even set up an extra twin bed for us and was willing to put it on any of the three floors. We would not hesitate to go back.

Spacious Retreat

Stephen was easy to work with and communicated quickly. We stayed over Thanksgiving and had plenty of room for family to spread out with us. House is less than a minute to the Palisades Parkway for quick access to wherever you want to visit. We enjoyed our stay there and would book again.

Family wedding

Great location for my son’s wedding. Nine of us stayed for four nights and had plenty of room. After a small communication glitch which I don’t believe was the fault of the owner all went well with check-in.We would definitely return to this house if in the area again and recommend it to others.

Great space for large family or group

We enjoyed out stay here. Our party of 6 adults and a teen and 4 children found it quite comfortable and spacious with the. kitchen, family and living room area, along with the outside patio and yard.

Very spacious, very clean and quiet

All the rooms were comfortable. We felt that the flow of the ground floor worked well for little children and adults. There were lots of places to sit, talk, eat and entertain.

FAMILY STAY/REUNION

This house is absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what we needed. My family came in from Texas and truly felt like they were at home. It was the first time we ever decided to get a big house for all of us to stay together and the family areas are very open and great for everyone to sit around and tell old stories. Steven is a great host, very kind and genuinely caring about our stay. If we ever have family come up again, we will for sure use this house!

Fantastic Place!!

Our family’s stay at Stonehaven was absolutely wonderful! The house is stunning both outside and inside. It is very obvious that the owner and the manager have put a lot of thought and care into renovating this historic home and making it welcoming for guests. The house is spacious, spotless, and furnished with new, comfortable furniture & beds. Our family enjoyed cooking dinner together in the beautiful kitchen, playing outdoor games in the large yard, and eating out on the deck upstairs. The built in BBQ grill was great for a big cook-out. There is plenty of space to watch a movie together, work on a puzzle while someone else bakes bread, or gather around the kitchen table for a competitive game of cards. A full grocery is just minutes away (bring your own bags!). Stonehaven was a terrific place for our family to stay I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a destination to relax and reconnect!

Wonderful experience

My family celebrated the marriage of my son. The location of the house was perfect for all of the wedding venues. The house was pristine and the grounds were perfectly manicured. Steven was excellent to work with. We would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for everything Steven.
