Elegant Mountain Cottage in private neighborhood with Ski Access

Elegant two bedroom mountain cottage (approximately 800 sq ft) adjacent to private home located in quiet Mountain Village, Colorado neighborhood. Adults only. The Cottage shares a patio and hot tub with the main house. Ski access to "Bridges" & "Double Cabin" ski runs. The cottage is located between Double Cabin & Bridges ski runs on Lift 10 in a residential neighborhood (Telluride Mountain Village). Ski access is an approximate 200 yard walk from the Bridges ski run to the Cottage driveway. [ pass under bridge #21 and ski over two small bridges when skiing in ] "Ski out" is available for more advanced skiers in back of Cottage off driveway to the Double Cabins ski run, however, we don't recommend that route anymore. This route is not advised because of a new home located below our property. Ski access for all levels of ability is convenient. It is a short walk to the Market & Gondola to the Mountain Village Core during Summer months. A connecting Gondola in the Core provides access to the town of Telluride. The cottage is located in North America's #1 Ski Resort. The Cottage is a peaceful alternative to the Mountain Village Core and the higher density town of Telluride. Telluride is the ultimate Winter playground. Skiing, helicopter skiing, snowmobiling, Nordic Skiing, sleigh rides, ice climbing, are among the Winter activities. Many agree Summer and Fall are even better. Hiking, mountain biking and fly fishing fishing are among activities in the warm months. Telluride offers many fine dining options.

We've been visiting Telluride for more than 40 years and have stayed in many places in town and in the village. This is by far the most beautiful, peaceful, private, charming and comfortable place we have stayed. It is nestled in Mountain Village just adjacent to the main home. We stayed in the winter and plan to return again in the summer as well. Ski access onto Bridges run is an easy walk about 100 yards up the road (about as far as anywhere you'd walk to access a run in the MV core or town). The views are stunning, the cottage is modern, warm and comfortable. And the owners (Rian and Leah) are some of the most gracious, kind, responsive and professional people you'll ever meet. They made our stay delightful! Absolutely 5-stars. We'll be back.

Mountain Village Get-Away

Property was a lovely appointed 2-Bedroom cottage with cozy space indoors and a larger & smaller covered deck for relaxing outdoors. A hot tub & fire-pit made for a wonderful stay. Owners just great, very responsive & made us feel welcomed!

Perfect Mountain Getaway- Can’t Wait to Return!

My husband and I had the most incredible stay at this mountain cottage in Telluride! The ski-in/ski-out access made our trip effortless, and the breathtaking views were just the cherry on top. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making meals easy and enjoyable. After long days on the slopes, we loved sinking into the most comfortable beds- it truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already planning to make this our annual ski retreat. Highly recommend!

Glorious cottage in a perfect location!

My husband and I spent 8 fabulous days at this special cottage in Mountain Village. The cottage is beautifully decorated with everything you need. Two porches provide the perfect spots to read and relax while admiring the gorgeous views. We loved everything about being here and plan to return next summer. Fantastic guest cottage in Mt Village

My husband, myself and college aged son had a terrific 2 week stay in this adorable cottage. Everything about this property ran smoothly. The owners, Rian and Leah are super conscientious and very responsive. The cottage is tastefully and fully appointed. Beds were comfy, steam shower great, hot tub right outside, to name a few of the conveniences. Cottage is a very short walk from the Bridges ski slope. Highly recommend!1

Wonderful Telluride vacation

My wife and I enjoyed our vacation in Telluride. We arrived to warm and inviting accommodations with a host who was readily available. The property itself met all our needs and more. Beautiful scenery from a large picture window gave us a living photo of the grandeur of Telluride. A comfortable porch and couch swing provided the opportunity to be outside and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. All in all, a definite A+. We hope to return to this wonderful property

A Spot of Heaven

Imagine being nestled away in a forest in a cozy, comfortable and PEACEFUL little cottage surrounded by a gorgeous interior design... My husband and I especially enjoyed the glorious bathtub and steam shower. The kitchenette is darling and we spent many evenings curled up by the fire enjoying some wonderful football games... This is the perfect location for a restful couples retreat and we are greatly looking forward to returning next year. Oh and did I mention the private hot tub just steps from the front door?!

The Most Comfortable Cottage On The Mountain

My husband, 3.5 month son and I had the best stay in Mountain Village in this Cottage property. It is ski in/ski out which made things a breeze and so much fun! The Cottage and property are in pristine and cleanly condition and the king sized bed in the master bedroom had me feeling like I was sleeping on a cloud up in the mountains. Complete with giant bath tub if you like a good soak. We throughly enjoyed our stay. There also has a built in humidifier dial! We can’t wait to start coming annually and in the summertime. We have found our forever rental!

Telluride for the First Time

From the time I pulled my car into the property till my daughter and I drove away a week later…there was not one moment that we didn’t love our stay. Rian is an incredible host! The property is warm and cozy, spotless and beyond comfortable. My daughter and I skied out in the morning and skied back in when the slopes closed. Better to have a car if you want to go down to Telluride for dinner. Perfect place! Wonderful host! Can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous location in luxurious cottage with epic views!

We had an amazing week enjoying this gorgeous cottage with incredible views of the mountains. It is the ideal location for skiers, but I would love to go during summer to enjoy the lovely porches! The hot tub was wonderful and overlooks the mountains as well. The cottage is very high end with wonderful appliances especially the coffee maker and tea kettle. The bedrooms have tons of clever storage and very comfortable mattresses. The glowing fireplace and radiant in floor heating made for a cozy stay! Rian could not have been more welcoming, and we felt like we made a new friend! We left Palmyra Cottage with great memories and eager to return.

A stunning and soothing sanctuary

My husband and I have stayed at this property two times now and both times we left feeling invigorated and renewed. The beauty and tranquility of this precious mountain cottage is unique. And if you love soothing your body in hot tubs and bath tubs, this is the place! Surrounded by the forest with easy access to the ski runs, my husband and I truly did not want to leave! The cottage is so cozy and the decor is stunning. I especially love the slab of blue stone on the wall above the couch in the living room. We cooked quite a few meals in the cute little kitchen, but then also went out to dinner to the restaurants recommended by our amazing host Rian. Taking the gondola to dinner in the town ofTelluride is an experience everyone should have once in their life... you see the sunset on the way across and up the mountain and then see the twinkling lights of Telluride down below as you journey down the mountain to dinner... BEYOND MAGICAL!

Beautiful Property!

This property was perfect for our trip. The location is so private, cozy and beautifully furnished. It felt brand new. We loved being in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds but also close to everything. The views of the mountains were stunning. Ski access is quite easy. My husband could ski out the back of the property a short distance to the Doubles Cabins run and I could walk to Bridges (200 yards) where I could ‘"ski out' and we could return to the same spot to "ski in" which was a short walk back to the Cottage. We enjoyed cross country skiing with friends. We also loved how close we were to the mountain village core. It looks like it would be a short walk in the Summer down the ski run to the Market (5 minute drive) where we could ride the Gondola into The Town of Telluride. We look forward to returning this Summer to take advantage of the spacious covered porch on the cottage.

Beautiful Mountain Cottage

Out stay at The Mountain Village guesthouse was amazing. We skied out every morning on a short trail that lead to an easy run that took us right to the lifts! We were able to ski home as well - with just a short walk down the road to our house. Once we stored our ski's in the provided lockers we enjoyed the incredible views of the mountain and late afternoon skiers - from the hot tub!!! It's a short drive to Mountain Village where you have several dining options - or make a meal in the well-stocked kitchen and enjoy sitting on the comfy couch in front of the fire!!! Our hosts were very accommodating and offered several tips and suggestions. My two teenage sons explored the surrounding wooded area- snow was thigh-deep - which they loved. I'm sure it is stunning in the summer! The home is beautifully decorated and has heated floors in the bathrooms! Incredibly comfortable beds and soft fluffy towels!! Stunning views from all the windows. We didn't spend much time on the patio- but am sure for a stay in the summer it would be perfect. My family loved our time in Telluride and we will definitely be back!

Heaven on earth!

My husband and I had an amazing week in Telluride at this pristine cottage in Mountain Village. The photos are spot on, but they don't adequately convey the beauty of the home and surrounding area. The owners have provided everything you could possibly need including an incredibly detailed binder with recommendations for dining, exploring, and a host of summer and winter activities. The bedding, towels, pillows, and robes were incredibly comfortable and we made great use of the appliances in the well-stocked kitchen. This is the perfect escape for couples, friends, or solo travelers looking for a quiet and sophisticated home base to return to after a day of hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, or shopping! In addition, the wifi was strong in the event that someone might need to work during their time away. We were a short drive (or walk) to the gondola that took us right into town where we were able to start a hike or grab a delicious meal. However, one of the many highlights of our week was the peaceful mornings and late afternoons that we spent relaxing on the patio gearing up for our next hike! Thank you again, Rian. We had a fabulous time!

Lovely home and quiet location

My husband and our adult niece and I stayed for 6 nights for hiking (and eating..) in the Telluride area. This home is lovely and well appointed in a very quiet, higher-end neighborhood in Mountain Village. No street or human noise of any kind, a fabulous covered patio on which to relax and, in our case, keep out of the afternoon rain! Twice I fell asleep reading on the massive porch swing. Neighboring homes were far enough away and the thick trees made them out of sight so it felt very private. All beds and furnishings were new and comfortable with a reasonably well-appointed kitchen for simple meals. But you can so easily take the gondola to either Telluride or other areas of Mt Village to eat you may have little use for the kitchen. We usually had breakfast at the rental, but after a morning of hiking would often stop elsewhere for our next meal. For anyone who has not been to Telluride or Mt Village, it's very easy to get around. If you want to drive to the gondola instead of walk there is free parking at the station (and the grocer's is also there w/ parking). This house is spotless; the gardens reminded us of our recent stay in Grasmere, England (yup, that lovely) and we had no complaints. We would highly recommend this property and would stay again. Rian was quick to respond to any simple question we had. A great stay!

This is our third time staying in this precious cottage. Truly this property feel like our home away from home in Telluride. Rian is fantastic to work with. He gets back right away when we have a question or comment. The cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway. My husband and I especially love begin in the jacuzzi underneath the stars! We loved the jacuzzi so much, we got one like it for our own home. The access to the ski slopes is easy and one of my favorite memories is skiing right up to the cottage! We also love the local grocery store in Mountain Village right down the hill, so full of delicious and fresh food. We wish we had one like it at home!

Luxurious Mountain Retreat

A beautiful property with breathtaking views in every direction. Luxurious finishes - high end kitchen appliances, down furniture, underfloor heating , central humidity system, steam shower, this place has it all! Very comfortable, but not large. Perfect for me and a friend. Loved the hot tub under the stars. Easy access to The Bridges ski run, about 1-2 blocks away. Grocery store with everything you need in Mt Village. Great stay!

Great Place!

We have enjoyed our stay in Telluride very much. The house is perfect. It is in a quite place. You can ski in and out, the village and Telluride are not far. Spending time in Jacuzzi after a day of skiing is very enjoyable. The house is stocked with everything you might need. Rian has gone far and behind to make our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property

Absolutely loved this property. Easy to communicate with the property manager. Friendly, easy to deal with and very accommodating. Look forward to staying here again in the future

Cozy and luxurious!

We loved this unique cozy bungalow in Mountain village! The pictures look amazing on line but in person, it’s even better! It is immaculate and so tastefully done. Every inch is used so efficiently . The property is stunning. We will be going back for sure and won’t even look at other options because overall we feel it is incomparable! The owners provided helpful information and were lovely but not at all intrusive. Such a great and convenient area to Mountain Village and Telluride which are both such fun. Great restaurants and shopping and spectacular views everywhere you look!! This is the perfect size place for 2-4 people and it’s a stand alone house, not part of a multi condo complex, the privacy is so relaxing and wonderful. We are a family of four and have been enjoying Telluride since 2002. We owned a condominium in the core for many years and have upgraded to a house to accommodate our growing family.

Telluride and Mountain Village offer a unique combination of historic charm and modern luxury. We have been Telluride visitors for many years. We enjoy the open views available in Mountain Village. We also enjoy the quiet setting offered in Mountain Village. We selected this property for the beautiful views, ski access, large patio and private setting. We have many great memories of Telluride and wanted to make a commitment to continue adding to those memories.

Ski access to "Bridges" & "Double Cabin" ski runs. "Ski out" available and short approximate 200 yard walk back to driveway in from ski run. The cottage is located between Double Cabin & Bridges ski runs on Lift 10 in residential neighborhood (Telluride Mountain Village).
