"Compass rose roof" This is a perfect getaway on the most desirable location on popular Lake Malone. This property has been updated with new hot tub. It sleeps upto 8 comfortably with a king bed in the master. A full over twin bed in the second bedroom and 2 sets on bunks in the third bedroom. the property features fire pit, private dock, gas grill, laundry and two kayaks(<=150 lbs) and trampoline for KIDS.

Beautiful place...

Beautiful property and amazing customer service. However, we wished it was a bit cleaner. There were dirty towels in the washer and dryer when we arrived, there was trash from the previous visitor's left behind in some of the trash cans, and the shower in the master bedroom leaked. Also, there was mold on the wall in the downstairs bathroom.

Wonderful place to stay

The property was a great place to stay for our family. It was spacious and in a great location. Wonderful communication with manager and easy check-in process.

Great location, house could use some TLC

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The listing was pretty accurate and the location was at the end of the road which was nice. The views were great although the outside (landscaping, screen doors, deck & railing) could use to attention. Inside the main floor was nice and open, we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the weather and views. The lower level could use some work, the bathroom was pretty rough as well as the carpeting (lots of stains). It didn’t look like the lower level had been cleaned well, there was garbage in the bathroom cans still and didn’t look like the carpet was vacuumed. Overall we enjoyed our stay here!

Vacation

Nice quiet property enjoyed our stay for most part. Was enough space for all of us but if I were to rent again I wouldn't bother with hot tub kids got in once but was quite dirty would think for extra charge would of been clean appears to just need a good cleaning filter was clogged up.Also downstairs bathroom toilet very loose other than that it was a nice get away.

Nice place. Needed some plumbing work on the first floor. No water pressure in downstairs sink. toilet not secured to the floor. Drywall needed to be repaired in a few spots. Great view. nice dock. Nice neighborhood. Like all VRBO, watch for all the extra fees.

All is good

Other then the hot tub issues all was great.. a second bedroom with queen would have been nice not just the bunks but overall it was good.

Family get away

The only real issue we had was we were told we would have a place at the house to park our pontoon boat trailer, there was no way we could get a trailer to the location park it or turn it around. The bed in the master was a little noisy but everything else was great.

Great Family Time.

The view was beautiful! Trampoline was great for our grandkids. Hot tub was great for us adults. Plenty of room for all of us! Grandkids caught a lot of fish. blue gill, bass and a couple of catfish right by the dock. We Will Rent Again!

Beautiful scenery....beware of ticks!

House is very nice and felt right at home. The yard and flower beds needed some TLC. Grass was ankle deep when we got there, was told lawn service was on a 2 week rotation. Neighbors told us grass gets knee high most times so watch for ticks. The kitchen had everything for cooking. The new hot tub and gas grill very nice. We used them often. Nice neighborhood, very friendly. The houses are rather close to each other tho. Lots of wildlife to watch and enjoy. Only 5 bath towels so if you have a large party you will need to bring some. The house is right next to the woods so once again beware of ticks. Our dog had quite a few and so did I, even after using spray repellent. Kayaks were alot of fun! We did have to carry them down and then back up to the house. The hill is bigger than it looks in the pictures.....lol! All in all nice trip. I am not one who complains but just a heads up on a few things.

Not as expected

Spacious, quiet, beautiful views. We had a good time, however, the house and yard was not up to our expectations and standards on several things. Neighbors house is 5 ft away. May be fine for some, but not for us. Owner was super responsive and communicative.

Exceeded expectations

Property was perfect and located at the end of the road, so no vehicles driving by. Very secluded. House and property was beautiful.

Great stay!!

What a beautiful little get away for our family of 6! The host communicated quickly, check in was seamless, but other then the shower not working on the lower level the house was quaint and exactly what we were looking for for a short, cheap trip close to home.

Awesome view

Our family went for the week of Thanksgiving. The house is very nice and the big deck is awesome. Wish it would have been warmer. But enjoyed the view nonetheless. Hot tub did not work but owner was upfront and we knew before we booked. The house could use a deep clean but nothing that disrupted our stay. It is like 30 minutes from any shopping. Overall had great time with family…unplugged and away from reality. .

Priceless Lake View and Experience

This was a very memorable experience ❤️ while there were some things that we ran into, the property manager was quick to respond, and they even purchased us some life jackets for our children, so we could go out kayaking with them... Which was priceless!! Pros: LAKE VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR Toys for young children Easy to access dock and Kayaks Roomy and open concept living/kitchen/dining room Tons of spices and condiments Cons: Some items were malfunctioning/broken (hot tub/jacuzzi tub/kitchen sink faucet) Master bed was squeaky (only a problem because my 4 month old had to sleep in bed with us) Strange oder downstairs, just a little musty The split floorplan was difficult for sleeping with young children (ended up sleeping on the couch) Over all, it was a great stay, thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful house on the lake!

Awesome lake house!

My husband and I with our 8 yr old Sheltie had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The view of the lake is outstanding! I can't say enough about the owner..had a few questions and he was always so quick to respond. Very helpful and so nice! Hopefully we can come back for a longer stay!

Lakehouse at the end of a lane

Overall a nice property. The inside was extremely clean (except for a couple drawers in the fridge). Only two burners of the gas grill worked and hot tub was not working. The property owner was quick to respond and refunded us the fee for the hot tub, but it was a bummer not having it. Great location at the end of lane so neighbors are only on one side. Also great views of the sandstone rock cliffs across the lake.
