Lake vacation

We had a great family vacation. The home is in a very quiet, wooded neighborhood but is easily accessible to lake and resort amenities. The host is great and very responsive to our requests and questions.

Great location!!

We had an amazing time at this property!! We webt on vacation with 1 other family and we all fit very comfortably in the cabin. The ammenities were a huge plus with the kids and the beach was great!! The beds were also super comfortable and the Krysta was great-answering all my questions right away! We will definitely be back to this property and Lake Lure!

Great stay at Lake Lure!

We had a great time at Lake Lure! The property was perfect for our needs. It was clean and had everything we needed. We cooked a lot while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a relaxing time and much needed for our family!

Loved our Weekend

We loved our weekend at Lake Lure! The resort was a fun get-away. The house is approximately 5 minutes from the resort. We also enjoyed nearby attractions including Chimney Rock and zip lining. The house was great inside and allowed for fun time together as an extended family.

Secluded Location Near North Lake Lure

6 adults and 3 young children had plenty of room in this home. Our property manager was very responsive to a few items that needed taken care of. The amenities included in our stay at Rumbling Bald resort was a nice plus and we visited it multiple times. We love the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock area.

Just what we needed

This was a quiet comfortable clean home with Rumbling Bald Resort passes that met all of our needs and desires. We basically stayed at the resort all day (which was only a few minutes away)but it was nice to come back to our room for showers and a comfy bed to crash in. :) The host was so accommodating and we would love to stay again!

Perfect for us

A beautiful home. A quiet location that felt private and homey. Plenty of space for our 3 adults, 2 teens, and 2 children. The house and kitchen were well-stocked with essentials and helpful extras. Soft towels, comfy bedding. The owners were friendly, warm, and responsive to all of my communications. I would rent here and with these owners again without hesitation.

Comfy home and wonderful host experience

The house was just as pretty as the pictures. Very beautiful scenery and location. We loved having access to Rumbling Bald resort amenities The beds were comfy, good water pressure in the showers, and plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids to spread out and relax. The host, Krysta, did an amazing job communicating and went above and beyond. We enjoyed it and would stay here again!

Enjoyed Our Stay

My husband, teenage girls and I enjoyed our stay. The area is very quiet and we especially enjoyed the wildlife. We were not aware of the beach area at Rumbald so finding it was a plus but the pool at Apple Valley was by far the most popular with the kids. My husband played golf twice and enjoyed both courses as well. Thank you!

Wonderful family trip!

Our group of 10 consisted of 2 families with kids ages ranging from 5-17yrs old. We all had a great time. Rumbling Bald resort is really close to this property. Picking up the resort passes was quick and easy. The resort has a great beach on the lake that is way less crowded than the Lake Lure beach downtown. The affordable SUP/Kayak rentals right on the beach was so convenient. Our kids spent all day in the lake and at the pool in the lazy river. Chimney Rock was a hit and only about a 20 min drive from this rental. Half of our group hiked the Hickory Nut Falls trail with our kids ages 5, 7, and 10 years old. Bring water shoes so you can cool off in the waterfall. The views are amazing! Gem stone mining was a blast for the entire group. I can’t say enough about how much we really appreciate the open and kind communication with the owners. We had a hiccup with the air conditioning due to a local power outage and the owners had a company out there the very next morning to fix it. They were always reachable and truly cared about our experience. The rental was clean and well stocked with essentials. They even had a cute kids playroom upstairs with a few toys and board games to play with. Everything else we needed was a short drive away at the local Ingles grocery store. We would definitely stay here again! It was a pleasure staying at your vacation home. Thank you!

Loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay! The beds were comfortable. The house was clean. The back deck and front porch got used a lot. Having access to the resort was very nice. Would love to visit again!
