Expect more with Red River Real Estate. R. Hideaway, also know as Grandview Townhouse #2, is a warm restful two-story townhouse. It is located on the east side of town. The townhouse is a two-bedroom one and 3/4 bath. It will sleep up to 7 guests. There is enough parking for two vehicles right out front. As you walk into the living room you will see hardwood floors. The suede couch has a queen pullout. You will find a flat-screen TV with Dish Network over the wood-burning fireplace. There are three chairs next to the fireplace perfect for the whole family to sit around and get toasty by the fire. The kitchen is right off the living room it is fully equipped with everything you need for 7 guests. Just like the comforts of home, there is a standard coffee maker, electric stove, plates, drinkware, silverware, etc. Off the kitchen and living room is a lovely dining table that seats up to six guests. Additional seating at the snack bar will allow two more guests to sit. The 3/4 bathroom is right off the dining room area has a granite countertop, washer/dryer, and a stand-up shower. Heading upstairs, you will have the two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The bathroom is in the hallway off from the two bedrooms. The full bathroom is very spacious with a full bathtub and shower. The Master bedroom has its own private balcony overlooking the mountains. Absolutely an amazing sight! The master has a queen bed with a flat-screen TV with Dish Network. The bunk room is right across from the master bedroom has a full-size bed on the bottom and twin on top. This room also provides a flat-screen TV with Dish Network.

Ski Trip

We really enjoyed our stay! We even had deer that came right up to the door! The entrance was very icy and not easy to get through.

Red River Spring Break

Grandview 2 was a great place to stay for our Spring Break. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen it was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The fireplace and wood provided was great since it snowed quite a bit while we were there. We would stay there again.

Upon entering we found the fireplace was well stocked with wood and very pretty. Tame deer everywhere. The tvs on each room had Dish TV and worked well. The kitchen looked very outdated and the sink fixtures were not securely attached to the sink. Living room cloth curtain did not cover the window by about 5 inches on each side. No privacy or security. Both bathroom hot and cold knobs were broken and reversed. The bottom floor shower was extremely small - Could not fit a full size average adult. Five window blinds strips were missing but found broken on the window seal. The master also the back door blinds that were bent and broken. Second bedroom also had broken and missing blinds. Limited privacy in both bedrooms. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable however the comforter did not smell clean. The master bedroom door was broken and unable to close, with a hard push we could jam it stuck and then a hard jerk to open it. The door did not fit the frame. Found dried up contact lenses on the nightstand. Not much effort in ensuring the property was clean was made. Very disappointed in the accommodations and the price we paid for our family vacation. This was the first time in Red River, NM. We were disappointed in the way the concerns were not handled when I called or discussed once notified to M Properties. They told me to send photos and never followed up. We will never stay in an M Property in the future. This is not the caliber of a VRBO property.

Quick trip

While we loved the location and the cozy feel inside, the beds were terribly hard. Even the teenagers complained the bunk beds were hard. If planning to cook your own meals plan to bring even the basics. Kitchen only had salt/pepper, dishware, and a set of small skillet set. We did lots of improvising and trips to Der Market for simple items like aluminum foil. We came expecting the kitchen to be like the other places weve stayed at. The kitchen was by no means a deal breaker, but the beds are. Nights of terrible sleeping on vavation is no fun.

Could be cleaner! Pots and pans had grease and food still on them. Full trash can in living room. Something sandy on sofa. Master door does not shut. Cheap sheets would not stay on mattress.

Great place

It was close enough to everything but just outside of the main strip by the slopes where it is busy. My only complaint was the bunk bed was super wobbly. My 9 year old slept on the top and me and my 11 year old shared the bottom bunk. Any movement up top from my 9 year old and the entire bed shakes. Needs to be fixed or replaced. Woke several times because the entire bed shakes when she would move any bit. Great stay. Would stay again!
