This 2 bedroom 1.5 bath home got a major facelift in 2020. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and has all the conveniences you could want. Stays over 30 days are not subject to hotel tax. Hi-speed internet, washer & dryer, dishwasher, tankless water heater with endless hot water. 58" TV, even a record player. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. There is also a sectional that suits fine for a child or teen to crash on. Enjoy your stay while in Olney at Chateau Monroe experience East Fork Lake, and all the dining and shopping Olney has to offer. Don't forget to check out our white squirrels while visiting.

Very cozy place

This property is a wonderful place to stay, very clean ,very quiet and best of all pet friendly. The decor of the home is awesome. Has a big backyard with fire pit With plenty of wood to burn. Will definitely stay here again

Immaculate place to stay

When looking for somewhere to vacation this popped up. What I loved about it, is that it isn’t a crowded town yet there’s everything you need there. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The bed was super comfortable and when taking a shower they even have Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom!

Awesome Place

The decor of this home really stood out! We loved it!! Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the home had everything we needed, cool fire pit in the backyard which we enjoyed while the kids ran around the large backyard catching some of the many fireflies which appeared in the evening. The neighborhood was also very quiet but located within a short distance to downtown.

Very Nice!

Everything about our stay was GREAT! We were in town for a family reunion in Clay City and usually stay at a hotel. We really wanted a more relaxing place and this was a perfect spot! It was exactly as shown in the photos. So comfortable and quiet. The entire house is so clean. And I loved the bluetooth speakers in the bathroom! We'll definitely stay again when we're in town. Many thanks to our hosts!

What a charming find!

Unfortunately our reason for visiting the area was a family funeral, but we could not have been happier with our stay at Chateau Monroe. The hosts thought of literally everything, and when you’re traveling with small children (and dogs), having what you need after a long drive is priceless. Chateau Monroe was spotless, and so cozy and we loved the modern and industrial decor and touches. It’s obvious a lot of thought and love was put into this home. We’ve stayed at numerous VRBO properties in multiple states, and this one by far exceeded our expectations! If we ever happen to be in the area again, we would absolutely stay here.

Great VRBO

We were very impressed with this VRBO. The hosts thought of everything from laundry detergent to coffee. We did not have to bring anything other than ourselves and some of our favorite foods and desserts. The interior was retro in design, the furniture and entertainment systems very functional, and internet was strong. The VRBO has a firepit with wood and an outside gas grill which was a bonus. The neighborhood is mature and quiet. The yard is well kept and has tall trees. It is also near main routes in Olney which makes it easy to get around town. We just really loved this nice surprise!

Really great house, easy check-in. There is a really helpful binder showing how to work the controls and what light switches turn on. Bluetooth sound system in the bathroom for shower karaoke which was super cool.Washer and dryer was a great amenity. Super clean home, great quiet neighborhood. Really cool outdoor space in the backyard with lighting.

We completely remodeled the entire home, from plumbing and electrical to hvac, insulation and cabinets, everything inside this home is brand new. Some of the special features of the home include, bluetooth speakers in the bathroom, unique "river island bar top" belt driven ceiling fans and more.
