At Lupine Cottage, relax & enjoy the peace & quiet of an immaculate, meticulously renovated stand-alone 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house directly overlooking the waters of Passamaquoddy Bay. Very private, but only a short walk from Downtown Eastport shops, restaurants, grocery store, soon-to-open microbrewery, whale watching tours, and Breakwater Pier. Enjoy fishing for mackerel. Go hiking at Shackford Head State Park. Sit on the deck & watch the gulls, ferry from Campobello to Deer Island go by. Take a short walk to Dog Island to see Old Sow, the largest whirlpool in the Western Hemisphere. Enjoy cooking fresh seafood in the well-equipped kitchen of Lupine Cottage. Lupine Cottage has been totally remodeled (just prior to 2021 season), has all new stainless steel appliances, an open living room/dining area, a spacious deck with gas grill, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, WIFI internet, cable tv, Ultra 4K Smart TV in the living room, and flatscreens tvs in each bedroom.
At Lupine Cottage enjoy the feeling of being far from the crowds, small-town ambiance, and really getting away from it all!

The property is lovely, the location is to die for, and Tom and Barbara were just great. The cottage is very well appointed and an easy walk to town. And the deer are everwhere. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The location was just as described. Views were fantastic and the layout of the property was easily accessible for my elderly parents both inside & out. We will definitely stay here again. The hosts were so nice and very accommodating. We loved loved loved our stay here!

Absolutely perfect!

Th cottage is lovely, very clean and well-appointed. A wonderful seaside view from the hose and the deck close to the shore provided cool temps for deck-sitting and watching the world go by! The location was an ideal "home base" for visiting a variety of local areas for shore hiking as well as a day trip to Campobello. It is located in area conducive to taking long walks with my pup as well as eating at local restaurants.

Great view, great stay

This little cottage nestled on the cliff above the sea was perfectly peaceful, tidy and everything was as expected. The pleasant hosts live nearby and are easy to reach if needed (we had no need for assistance though). It is a short walk to everything in town…the few restaurants, shops, the post office, and boat tours.

Would highly recommend! House was adorable and clean. View was amazing. Kitchen was stocked with almost everything you could need. We made good use of the lobster pot, crackers and little forks. Host was friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful View at Lupine Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lupine cottage! It was meticulous. The owners had special touches such as binoculars for whale watching that enhanced the stay. We were sad to leave the beautiful sunrises. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay at Lupine Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Lupine Cottage. The cottage was as depicted on the website, and included everything we needed. The personal touches made it that much better and enjoyable. The views were spectacular, especially the sunrises! Easy access to town, hiking trails and state parks. A stress free stay thanks to the hosts. We will be back!

Eastport ME

Lupine Cottage is a great place to stay in Eastport. Plenty of room, clean, and with a great view of Campobello Island. We met the owners who are very pleasant and right next door if we would have needed them. We would definitely return to Lupine Cottage. Maybe next time we'll actually see a sunrise!

Beautiful views

The Lupine Cottage is a wonderful property- it has beautiful views of the bay and Campabello Island. The property was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. We were able to walk into town to shop or have a meal. Nicely furnished and plenty of room. The property owners are nearby, available if needed, but not intrusive. Thank you Barbara and Tom for a great stay!

Lovely Lupine Cottage

What a great property! I would highly recommend! Spectacular views. Great proximity to downtown. Clean, very cute, and nicely appointed. We had a great week in Eastport: mackerel fishing, clamming (Lubec), picking sea glass, and eating of course. Very relaxing. Vitamin Sea!

Our Lupine Cottage Vacation

The house was beyond clean and the accommodations were great! So close to downtown Eastport that, if you wanted, you could walk there. We loved the deer family that visited every morning and evening. The hosts lived right by so we felt if there had been a problem that we could reach them easily. The view was amazing. Hated to leave.

Truely a Gem

Lupine Cottage is exactly as described and more. Beautiful views, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and a great location for walking into Eastport or heading out to explore the nearby towns. Tom and Barbara were great hosts -- there if and when you needed them, but the truth is we had no problems during our stay so our interactions with them were mostly just friendly conversations. I really appreciated the clarity of the check in and check out instructions. All in all, Lupine Cottage is one of the best Maine rentals we have ever have.

Comfy stay

Lupine cottage is lovely, comfortable and in a wonderful location. We walked with our dogs all over Eastport every day and especially enjoyed being so close to town but yet very quiet. Our favorite was waking up to a pink and red sky as the sun rose and looking out the front yard to see deer grazing with the water as an idyllic backdrop. The only drawback was there really is no yard for the dogs. We kept them leashed at all times but would have loved some space for them to run free as we've done in other locations.

Just perfect.

Drove out from WI for my first visit to the Maine coast. My friend, dog and I enjoyed a wonderful almost 2 weeks teleworking (and some exploring!) from Lupine Cottage. Everything was perfect - from the house and location to the hosts. Tom and Barbara were responsive and helpful, the cottage was perfectly provisioned, and we thoroughly enjoyed the area (even without Canada border open to go to Campobello). The cottage was cozy and welcoming, and mornings on the deck were spectacular! Everything I hoped from my stay on the Maine coast. Would love to stay here again and highly recommend Lupine Cottage.

Relaxing with a view!

Lupine Cottage is a lovely place to stay--one of our best VRBO experiences. Our hosts created an immaculate and very well appointment home. The master bedroom with a king bed and spectacular water view was a real highlight, but really, the entire house was so appealing and thoughtfully furnished. The two full baths were large and comfortable; lots of towels and nice toiletries. The kitchen was a dream. There was a nice deck with a table, chairs and grill. Adirondack chairs were set up on the lawn overlooking the water. The owners' suggestions of places to go and things to do was very helpful. I highly recommend Lupine Cottage for an attractive, clean and comfortable place to get away from it all!

Amazing stay

Tom and Barbara were terrific hosts. We got in late and they went over and turn the lights on and opened the door for us. They even left us a bottle of water and a bottle of wine. The home has been updated. They have every amenity you would need from the Kuerig coffee maker to hair dryers in the bathrooms. Extremely comfortable beds. The view is amazing. The heater works great. They have an on demand water heater. Two showers were taken at the same time and we had hot water. We will definitely stay here again if we go back to Maine. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location

18 days - so relaxing. Beautiful view. Cottage is simple. Furniture is a bit uncomfortable and would be cramped with six people. Kitchen could be stocked with better pans and baking sheets and knives, but we got through it cooking most meals each day. Grocery store is close by along with a couple restaurants. Even though we only had four sunny days, the sunrises are spectacular. Whether you walk out to get the sun as it is coming up or stay in the upstairs bedroom to see the sun as it rises over the Owners house, it’s definitely worth being up to see. You can get some beautiful pictures of the colorful sky from the upstairs bedroom. We also were there for the full Flower Moon. Oh and the deer! Eight at a time! Overall we had a great stay and our very limited contact with the Owners was nice. Thank you for sharing Lupine Cottage with us.

Loved our stay

Our stay was fantastic! Everything was super clean. Love the way it's decorated and really appreciated the bottle of wine, gallon of water and cookies that were waiting for us after a very long day of traveling to get there. The views are breathtaking! Would definitely recommend and stay there again!!
