Excellent Getaway - Great Hospitality

This was a great home away from home. The owners were incredibly hospitable and made sure our stay was fun filled! I cannot say enough good things about them. Great place in a great location. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay with tons to do around you, this is it!

Perfect getaway for us

We had a wonderful time at Twin Pines Lodge! The atmosphere and vibe was exactly our style, rustic, laid back and within a half-hour of everything we wanted to do. The pool is beautiful and we enjoyed the outdoor activities they had to offer. The hosts are very kind and accommodating

Very nice!

Very nice property. Clean, comfortable, quiet. They had a bunch of activities to do. The pool was amazing! Wendy and Anthony were so friendly and accommodating. I really appreciated the hospitality.

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend vacation in the 4 bedroom cabin. The hosts were amazing. They provided great recommendations for local activities and restaurants. They were available for all of our questions. The site has a playgroud, pool, and gameroom which was perfect for keeping our children entertained. We are excited to return in the future for another (longer) stay.

A wonderful place to enjoy with family and friends!

We had the best time at Twin Pines. From the brand new pool to the old school charm of its historic cabins, this place exceeded our expectations. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the game shed and playground. But they said walking the grounds and exploring the pond was the best part. The owners greeted us warmly and treated us with kindness and respect throughout our stay. What an unexpected and wonderful addition to the already welcoming vibe of this sweet spot they’ve lovingly cared for, here in the Adirondacks. The kids were asking when we’d be back before we even left the driveway!

Quick getaway

The owners of the property are extremely welcoming and attentive. The grounds are wonderful and amazing, we had fun with the selection of outdoor games they had available. I can only speak for the cabin in which we stayed and just some cosmetic changes to the interior so it's not dated looking and the bathrooms atleast needed bit of updating . If at least one of the cabins is made fully accessible it would be great for those who have mobility issues. I would definitely return to this property with friends and if it becomes fully accessible it can be a mainstay in my family's future getaways.

It was so nice to meet you and your family. Yes the cabins are not perfect for wheel chairs. We have had a few people that have stayed with us and used them but were in different cabins that I think made it a little easier. It is definitely our goal to make the cabins more accessible for everyone. Hope to see you again.

Exceptional Family Experience!

Twin Pine Lodge is a perfect family oriented getaway location. The proprietors, Anthony and Wendy, have created an environment for families to enjoy time away together and are attentive to every need a family may have. The facility boasts a 1st class swimming pool, outdoor and indoor games (volley ball, basketball, ping pong, etc.), and is pet friendly as well. During our stay, both Anthony and Wendy took an active (but not intrusive!) interest in every family on site, and ensured that all the families large/small and young/old, enjoyed themselves without distraction. This is not a college party resort, but a well maintained facility with all the amenities. Our stay was in a rustic, three season cabin, with all the basics. The site is located 10 minutes from Chestertown dining and grocery shopping, and a 2 minute walk to the Loon Lake Beach. If you are looking to unplug, disconnect and enjoy family game nights again, this is YOUR place!

A great place to stay

Hosts were kind and welcoming. Cabin was clean and well maintained. The property was a five minute drive from town and a 20 minute drive to Lake George.

We rented fair view cabin for a group of 8. Cabin was spacious, clean, and suited perfectly for our needs. We enjoyed the stay & would be returning next year.
