"A Quiet Place" minimum stay is 10 night

Located a few miles (7 min. drive) from the Westport River and Horseneck Beach… well known for it’s five mile stretch of ocean surf & sand.

The house is a fairly newly constructed 900 sq. ft. house with a large wraparound deck overlooking gardens, woods and Nature. It its filled with light from skylights and glass sliders. The entire home is furnished with unique pieces and artifacts from world travels.

Master bedroom en suite has an adjustable Queen bed, gas fireplace & Cable TV. Master Bath has a whirlpool tub & shower.

Upon request there is an additional single sofa bed available for an occasional overnight visitor. A full guest bathroom with shower is located in the same sun drenched area.

Laundry washer & dryer are located in this space as well.

The house design is “Open” with 15 ft. ceilings with fans and central air-conditioning. The “Great Room” includes the LR, Dining, and fully equipped kitchen areas. The double sided gas fireplace is located in the Great room & master bedroom which adds to the special ambiance and can be used year round.

Perfect vacation home for a couple… artists, writers, nature lovers and outdoorsmen would all be delighted to spend some time here.

Located a few miles (7 min. drive) from the Westport River and Horseneck Beach… well known for it’s five mile stretch of ocean surf & sand.Grocery shopping is an easy outing with Lee’s Market being located two miles away.
Quaint shoppes, Boutiques, Art Galleries and waterfront dining are all close by within a few miles.

Wonderful two-week vacation

My wife and I spent a wonderful and relaxing two weeks in this lovely, well-equipped and comfortable cottage. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces afforded by a large wraparound porch, where we took most of our meals and enjoyed looking at the gardens and birds. Brenda was an excellent host who gave us great privacy yet was very responsive to any questions we might have. The property is well-situated to access Horseneck Beach, historic Westport Point, Lee's supermarket, numerous fruit and vegetable stands, wineries and breweries, as well as good restaurants. We would have gladly stayed longer if we could.

Beautiful spot

This property was ideal for a week-long summer vacation for my wife and me. We were familiar with the area and knew we liked the location: about five miles from beautiful Horseneck Beach, just a couple of miles from the lovely village of Westport Point, and just a few minutes drive away from great spots for breakfast (The Barn), lunch (Wild Honey), dinner (The Bayside) and ice cream (Woods). Also a great supermarket, Lee's. What we didn't know that the property would be as excellent as it is. It's a lovely, spacious place. Brenda had anticipated pretty much anything we would need (including two beach chairs and towels), but if we had any questions or requests, she was very responsive. We loved sitting on the deck, reading in the comfortable chairs, looking out over the beautifully landscaped garden, and watching the hummingbirds come by the feeder. Be warned: Parking at Horseneck Beach for out of state cars is $40 a day. It's too far to walk, but there is no charge if you bike there.

Brenda is a terrific host

I cannot recommend this romantic get away in Westport enough. Brenda is a terrific host. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens, climbing roses and phlox abound! There is a wrap around deck with views of more gardens and very comfortable seating to relax, even a hammock. The interior is just fun. High ceilings, creative decor, wonderfully comfortable. There are two full bathrooms, awesome lighting, and lots of clickers to open the shades, turn on the fireplace, tilt the bed in all sorts of positions! The master bathroom has a bidet toilet and a jacuzzi tub. Everything is sparkling clean and the entire cottage smells of lavender. It’s an ideal place for love and I enjoyed playing in the bed with my four grandkids! I highly recommend this wonderful cozy house. It’s close to all your shopping needs and to Horseneck Beach. My only recommendation would be some coffee, tea, milk, cream, fruit, snacks. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, and gadgets necessary to cook but no condiments, like salt and pepper. It’s perfect if you don’t plan on cooking there. I have recommended Brenda’s cottage to several friends who live in Providence. It’s a great place to get away.

A Delightful Stay

We had a wonderful time at this lovely property in Westport. It's so clean, comfortable, and well-appointed--we wanted for nothing. The wrap-around porch and lovely landscaped grounds are a delight, and the beach is just a few minutes away. The central air and gas fireplace have you covered whatever the weather, and the cook's kitchen gives you the option to stay in for a meal if you like. We just relaxed and enjoyed every moment. Thank you, Brenda, for such a delightful stay!

Our stay in Westport was great. The property billed as "Romantic Getaway" on Main Rd was beautiful. The home and property were very well maintained. It was comfortable, and had some lovely furnishings. The Hostess, Miss Brenda, was kind and gracious and very hospitable. She was attentive yet gave us our privacy. I could not have had a better time. I would definitely recommend this property and would definitely return.
