Family trip for wedding

The house has plenty of space, but not well maintained. The headboard piece was missing and nails were sticking out ... the nails ripped the pillow case and cut my finger. There was a random pacifier (definitely not from us) under a bed. I also saw the missing headboard piece under the bed. The 2nd bathroom didn't have hot water for shower. It smelled musty.

Surprised

I was overall surprised at the condition of the home. I rely on honest reviews so I will give mine. The entire house smelled strongly of mold /pet urine. Two of the bedrooms had filthy carpet that smelled strongly of urine. Both tubs had mold and the bath towels had a rancid smell. We had to remove several spiders and spider webs in the bedrooms. The master bedroom door would not close completely. There was only one kitchen towel available and there were mouse droppings in the drawer of the stove. Unfortunately, I would not rent this place again. It needs a deep cleaning and new carpet at least. The owners seemed nice and were responsive with questions but I feel like it was misrepresented with the condition that it is in.

Nice, simple house located in a quiet neighborhood in the country. You can get here from I-40 without having to deal with Sevierville/Pigeon Forge traffic. There are several restaurants and stores located nearby. Would stay here again.

disappointment

Entering the home the house smelled really bad and musty as if the house had been sitting unoccupied for a while or has recently had major water damage. Also the trash from prior was not emptied( full) upon our arrival. The furniture is very dated,carpet & walls were both very dirty Floor tiling chipped. The towels & wash clothes in the master bedroom bathroom were not clean they all smelled really bad like someone's body odor I had to put them all in the washer to be washed. Saturday I was out majority of the day but On Sunday I discovered ants & roaches ants were crawling all over the counter tops and roaches were spotted in the restroom, kitchen, living room, and in the kitchen cabinets. The home has a lot of potential to be great but in its current state it should not be aloud to rent on any 3rd party sites in my opinion. I tried to reach out to owner & havent received any response . I'm very disappointed because the location was perfect .

Great stay

Good location. Just a couple minutes from the main road. Nice quiet neighborhood. House could use a little bit of work but nothing major. Overall very nice stay, I would recommend for others to stay.

Dirty and poorly maintained

We have stayed at several other VRBOs and they have always been very clean and well maintained. We were disappointed with this one and would not stay here again or recommend it. The master bedroom has a large rotted spot in the floor that is falling through and can not be walked on from a water leak from the bathroom. The master bathroom has mold on the wall from the leak and in the shower. The sheetrock in the bathroom has soft spots from the water damage. The house has a very musty smell. There was also water damage around the dishwasher with soft spots on the floor around the air vent in the dining room and in the kitchen by the sink. The carpet in the house is stained and had visible amounts of dust along the edges. The air vents were dirty with what appears to be pink insulation. The windows inside had spiders and spiderwebs in them. The owner was contacted and is suppose to address these issues.

Awesome Stay

This was a lovely place to spend our weekend! It’s out of town so it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Very clean and homey. I also have to mention the wonderful fluffy towels in the bathrooms. They were not the cheap kind you find in most rentals. Well stocked kitchen. Great/quick communication with owner! Would definitely stay here again!

Loved it!!!

I absolutely loved this home! It was in a great location that I had never stayed in before. Very pretty. The drive to Pigeon Forge was super simple also. Very spacious house, exactly as described. No complaints at all. Will definitely stay here again.

Our stay.

The home is as shown in pictures. The beds are firmer than I like. The yard was not as big. The barn in the picture us actually down the road. So not a lot of play space for the kids. Real close to road and the backyard is not for kids at all. Definitely clean and neat.

Girls weekend

Went down for a girls weekend of shopping. The house was exactly as mentioned in the description and decorated very nice. It was nice to be able to come back to the house after a full day of shopping and have space to relax without being right on top of each other.

Nice place!

Nice home in a nice area. House was clean and comfy! Close to Gatlinburg. Many good hiking trails within an hour’s drive. I would stay here again!

AMAZING!

Accommodate all our needs sleeping arrangements was super easy all the rooms was excellent so no fighting from the kids of who sleeps where and property manager shot a few messages making forsure we was comfortable and to check if we needed anything . Highly recommended for the price.

Our experience was great, this house felt like home and was very clean and neat.
