Lake front cottage recently remodeled w/ private dock and optional pontoon boat.

Welcome to the "Dock Holiday" Cottage!
Relax and enjoy an amazing view of Conneaut Lake from the open vaulted great room. The kitchen has a 4 ft by 8 ft island where you can gather and create memories. With an additional large kitchen table there is room for everyone to sit and enjoy a meal together. There is plenty of storage for food and drinks with the two refrigerators located at opposite ends of the kitchen. The separate kid's lounge will be a great hang out and includes a smart TV and connections for game consoles. Sit back in one of the rocking chairs on the screened in porch and watch the amazing sun sets. Take a dip in the lake, its only 25ft away. Bring your own boat and dock it at the private dock or contact the owners about renting their pontoon boat. There are several nearby attractions including lake side restaurants, local micro brewery, nearby golf courses, local wineries and distilleries or visit the many local restaurants by either car or boat. Nice quiet area of the lake. Use the grill and eat outside at one of the two picnic tables. After dinner enjoy the breath taking sunsets while gathering around the fire pit. The cottage is located at the dead end of a private road. Large additional lot to play volleyball or have yard games. The "Dock Holiday" rents Friday to Friday, so you can enjoy a full weekend at the lake. This lovely, open, 5 bedroom, 3 full bath cottage is sure to please you and your family or guests!

Everything was really great … weather was ideal, location perfect, house lovely. This was a long overdue girls reunion… we all graduated from Edinboro 52 years ago! Even did a field trip to see our old stomping grounds. Would recommend!

We visited with a few friends and our children. The kids had so much fun on the water with a few paddle boards and a kayak that we brought. The kitchen is large and faces the lake so you can enjoy the location even from inside. The two refrigerators were great for our food and beverages. The house was clean and well stocked with towels, and enough toilet paper and paper towels to get started. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

Great family stay

The spacious house was perfect for our family get together. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to provide our own meals. A great place for families.

Dock Holiday's Get Away

There were 6 of us. We have friends who live in the area so this was a perfect gathering place. The kitchen and dining room was large enough for us to host brunch and dinner on the lake!

What a great week

The stay at this property was great. It was my wife an I, kids and grandkids. Kids had a great time fishing from the dock (caught lots of fish). Had my fishing boat there as well, but the pontoon boat was great for the group. Overall an excellent stay would recommend

Fantastic for Family Gathering

We met up with adult cousins and aunts and uncles for a mini- reunion and memorial golf tournament. The lake house was a perfect gathering spot for all to relax, catch up and enjoy. We loved the lake views, fire pit, and expansive kitchen island perfect for a large group. This house is very versatile with so many ground floor bedrooms and space for all. The two refrigerators and kitchen packed with amenities was so convenient. We would and will stay here again!

Sunset on the lake

The home was perfect for our family of 9. Everything was as shown& every detail taken care of .we were so happy to be able to bring our boat & dock it steps from the cottage. The owners were so helpful & easy to communicate with. Our whole family ( ages 4-77) enjoyed the comfy beds, different areas, Netflix ,fire pit & of course the beautiful sunsets. Thank you so much for our wonderful week!😃

Family vacation

Dock Holiday was the perfect location for our 3 generation family vacation. The home is clean and well maintained. Owners are friendly and kind responding quickly to our questions. The beds were comfortable and there was room for everyone to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The huge island allowed us to eat together while the dining table was our spot to play games. Our mornings were spent enjoying coffee in the screened porch and patio. The new outdoor furniture, grill and firepit didn't go unnoticed. Mom especially loved our time around the fire making smores and reminiscing. Everyone enjoyed seeing all the wildlife of countless ducks, geese and their young, fish, Blue Heron, snails, and even a muskrat. Boating was everyone favorite activity bringing back memories for our Mom's fishing days with Dad before he passed. I would be bereft to not mention the stunning sunsets we witnessed while enjoying the patio. This is our family's 2nd time renting Dock Holiday and we would consider renting again.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We will treasure the memories made.

Wonderful stay

Grandparents, 2 daughters and 10 grandchildren (ages 2-15) enjoyed fishing and water sports in this well appointed lakefront home. Yes it accommodated all 14 of us comfortably. The large open kitchen/dining/ living room afforded all of us to be together playing games and enjoying each other’s company. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the crowd. There are tvs although I do not think we ever turned them on. Internet was great. Location, location, location! The children caught many fish from the dock. This was our second stay at Doc Holiday and it was just as fun this year as last. We hope to be back!

Lakeside getaway

Exactly as described. Owner is generous with wood for firepit. Well equipped kitchen and supplies. Ample outside seating. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is no powder room and having to share 3 bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom would be better suited for kids, but adequate. Twin bedroom needs a mirror. Kitchen needs a regular coffee pot when you have a large group. Even with the few negatives we would stay here again and rent from this owner.

Nice Cottage

Cottage is good for Conneaut Lake. Pros: Nice open great-room with beautiful lake views. The lakeside patio is super. The two refrigerators are very convenient. The center island is awesome! The towels are very nice and plush. Cons: I had to go out and buy shower curtain liners for all three bathrooms. I really don't think they had been changed all summer. Ugh! There was pink mold around the drains in the bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is a nice addition but the sink is so small it is almost unusable and the shower is configured very oddly. It was probably my oversight that the source of A/C are window units. I'm not crazy about them. Fortunately, the weather turned cooler so we didn't have to use them much.

3 generation family vacation

Dock Holiday is a beautiful lake front home with unparalleled views. The home is situated on the water only a few steps from the dock and pontoon. We enjoyed meals around the fabulous island allowing everyone to be together for every meal. We loved game nights around dining table. Every night we were blessed with stunning sunsets from the comfort of the back patio, porch and inside living area. Fires on the chilly nights in the fire pit was wonderful. Boating was everyone's favorite activity. Thank you for your willingness to rent your pontoon. It brought back wonderful memories for the matriarch of our family having spent many hours boating with our father before he passed. The younger generation enjoyed the public beach, renting jet ski and fishing. We explored the shops in town and found everything we needed at the local grocery store. The kitchen is huge and had everything one needs to prepare delicious meals. The extra parking was a bonus as we had several family members come and go as their schedules permitted. Last but not least, the owners were terrific. They were attentive when needed and provided a wonderful home for our family to rest, relax and reconnect. We hope to stay again soon.

Sock Holiday

What a beautiful place!! The cottage is large enough that 12 of us had plenty of room. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked. I can’t say enough about the view… wow… sunsets were beautiful. Would definitely rent again.

2022 Annual Girls Trip

Every year we have an annual 'Girls Trip'. When the Dock Holiday Lake House came up in my review & I booked it immediately. The house was located close enough to restaurants and shops. We visited the Andover Flea Market, a couple restaurants, Walmart.... The weather was nice. The lake at the rear of the property gave us a place to splash around and have a little fun in the sun. We did not rent the pontoon boat, but we did bring floats and tied them to the boat slip. The water around there us is not deep however, I would recommend water shoes since tall grass grows on the shallow end. The lake house had all the amenities we needed to make this one of the best trips we have ever had. Most of us didn't event have to go anywhere. Thanks Gary. I appreciate all of the communication through out our stay. I am definitely going to recommend Dock Holiday cottage to my friends & family. Thanks again! Sincerely Amy Hayes

Second trip to Dock Holiday

We had an amazing trip for the second year in a row! The house is immaculately clean! The owners are very accommodating and the House EVERYTHING you could need! We hope to be back for a third year next year! Highly recommended! Absolutely perfect location, property, and great owners!
