Wonderful communication with the owner and he arranged for very easy, alternate check-in accommodations with his son. Amenities (such as coffee pods, cream and sugar, snacks, etc.) were provided. Convenient location to historic downtown with shops and restaurants. Owner checked-in several times to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything.

Great experience

This bungalow was steps away from Downtown Arcadia but so quiet. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed sitting right outside the door with my coffee in the morning a a glass of wine at night. Felt vey safe also! I'll be staying there everytime I visit Arcadia!

Fun Vacation in History

This studio belongs with a beautiful historic home a block from downtown filled with unique shops, good restaurants, and friendly coffee shops.The owner of this studio is very knowledgeable about the history of the home and surrounding area. This couple is very friendly and wanted to make sure I had everything I needed.I will be going back! You will love it.

Amazing Stay

This was the best rental I have stayed in!!! Allen & Linda were great hosts and it was fun throwing the ball for their pup Lucile. He knows all the great places in town and they even shared the front porch with me in the evening. Thanks for the great stay!!

Great stay!

Clean and quiet. Wonderful hosts, kind, friendly, and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to provide amenities to make the stay comfortable and pleasant. Cute historic town. Highly recommend.

A Serene Break

One of the most serene place we’ve stayed at. Having my first cup of tea of the day in absolute quiet with cool breeze, was a pleasure. This little gem of a place hidden in historic Arcadia, was clean, comfortable and absolutely affordable. The host was very accommodating and helpful directing us where to dine what to see and in general very knowledgeable about the area. Thank you Allen.

Charming and convenient

The property is exactly as described - a studio that is neat and clean. Alan was very attentive. Perfect for a few nights. It's a block from downtown historic district and very convenient to other areas as well. The nearby antique shops were delightful and we enjoyed several of the cafes very close by. Highly recommend Farmhouse coffee, as well as Magnolias, Neon Saloon (for a little drink), and Martins Country Store. Had a wonderful chat with Loretta at Antiques and More. Also had a great meal at Reef and Beef; honestly, we were a little surprised but truly enjoyed their food

Our stay in the Studio

The studio fit our needs perfectly. Loved seeing all the antiques and hearing their story from Allen. We enjoyed hearing the history of their places and their coming plans for the future. Walking distance to everything and enjoyed all the Mom and Pop places we visited like Myshelley’s for lunch and the chocolate shop. We would definitely stay again, or maybe get some friends and stay in the big house. Allen and Linda were excellent hosts and we look forward to seeing them again…

Great landlord

Mini-house behind main house was great place to return to every night after our 2,025 miles of driving our rental car. Allen and wife were fantastic. We also got to meet short-term renters in the main house, the cats and dogs that Joan helped feed on the back porch of the main house.

Wonderful place to stay

We were in the area for a bmx race at Charlotte bmx track in Punta Gorda. While we would have liked to have stayed a bit closer to the track, we were VERY happy with the rental. Clean and exactly as advertised. Arcadia is quaint as well. We tried Florida Farmhouse Coffee and the chocolate shop just down the street and both were awesome! Highly recommend this place. Allen was a pleasure to work with. Very accommodating.

A charming studio space!!!!

At first there was a little misunderstanding about the VRBO listing but Allen and Linda went overboard to make up for the problem. The room is very clean and upscale in its fixtures and details. Walking distance to downtown Arcadia, it was relaxing environment..

Relax and Unwind

Beautiful location and comfortable room. Outside space with wonderful plants. Great for a relaxing stay. Town has many 1900’s homes and buildings. The hosts are excellent. Hope to stay again.

We love staying here! This was our 3rd time and every time has been terrific. The amazing hosts, Allen and Linda always have recommendations to share on a place to get a good meal or nearby activities. It’s located in walking distance to downtown stores and eateries. Wonderful Studio

In town for a few nights to visit my sister. This was a perfect little spot close to town and her home. Studio was very well appointed with great furnishings and a wonderful adjustable bed. Quiet and secure location too. Enjoyed visiting with the hosts. Will keep this little gem on the radar for my next visit. Kindest Regards.

Very quaint, lovely accommodations . Felt very safe.

We were visiting friends in the area and this made a wonderful place to stay. Can walk downtown from neighborhood to downtown stores & eateries. Has a coastal theme inside & out. Allen & Linda we’re great hosts!

January 2023 Visit

This is my second stay at this property, and it was just as great this time as it was last. The location is great for walking to local downtown shops and restaurants. The hosts are wonderful!! I definitely will be back.
