Swan Valley Retreat Seeley Lake

Situado en el corazón del valle del cisne en un lago privado. El acceso es por un puente privado. La cabaña cuenta con un encanto rústico pero elegante, con techos abovedados, grandes ventanales y una hermosa chimenea de piedra de río. La más agradable es la gran terraza con vistas al lago. No hay lanchas están permitidos, por lo que su privacidad y la soledad están garantizados. El lago es ideal para los niños de natación, piragüismo y kayak
  La cabina se encuentra entre el desierto misión montaña y el desierto bob marshall. Lindberg y Holanda lagos son las unidades de corta distancia. Parque del glaciar está a unos cien millas.

Beautiful and peaceful areal! Loved having lake access and the boat, kayak, ect Enjoyed sitting on porch watching the wildlife!Unfortunately the vrbo was dirty, especially the main bathroom toilet and around it)and the kitchen ( refrigerator and freezer was not cleaned) The linins were clean, however the blankets had dog hair all over them so we spent the first day cleaning The outside property was in disarray My suggestion would be to hire someone to clean

This is like staying in someone’s home and I don’t feel right criticizing how another person chooses to live. However as a rental, there were personal items in each bedroom, the bath tub had a used razor, someone’s shower scrunchie, a used and dried washcloth, the small bathroom trash was filled with feminine hygiene products. The kitchen cupboard had dried coffee in the first coffee cup I pulled out, dried egg was on a plate also in the cupboard and the small skillet was oily with food products inside. Dried sticky substance on the dining table. I think the housekeeper must have had a bad day because many of the reviews talk about how clean the cabin is. We all cleaned before we felt somewhat comfortable-both bathrooms, the kitchen including the inside of the microwave, the countertops, the fridge is beyond help-it’s simply filthy. Then we cleaned the coffee pot and we washed every dish, cup, glass and utensil before use. The location is wonderful with lovely views of the lake.

Tranquil Retreat

This was our third visit, and every time we thoroughly enjoy the lake, the view, the privacy and the serenity. We also enjoyed the company of the bluebirds, chipmunks and squirrels, who promptly cleaned up any nuts, seeds, etc. left on the deck. Thanks to the hosts for sharing this special spot!

Relaxing Vacation

We rented this cabin for a week with the plan to unplug and relax. It more than met our expectations. We spent the majority of our time on the lake paddle boarding, canoeing, swimming and snorkeling. We had the entire lake to ourselves for the majority of the week. And to glide across the still and tranquil lake in the morning was heavenly. When we weren't on the lake, we were relaxing on the porch looking at the lake playing games, reading, feeding the birds, or doing a puzzle. We saw lots of wildlife throughout the week, deer (2), bald eagle (4), fish, turtles, hummingbirds, chipmunks, birds, and squirrels. This was actually our 3rd time visiting this cabin (2006, 2011, and 2023). Our now young adult children enjoyed reminiscing. It was fun. The owners were amazing to work with. The cabin amenities were great!

Perfect family break

We had a wonderful time playing on the lake, reading in hammocks around the property (we brought our own but there are so many perfect places to hang them), and sunbathing on the dock. All our kids (ages 7-17) loved being together and always had something fun to do, whether it was paddling across the lake, swimming in the water, building fairy gardens in the yard, or reading on the deck. The lovely weather helped, but even when it got rainy we could snuggle inside and read books by the fire. Everything we needed was there and the host was very communicative. I highly recommend this for a retreat away from cell phones, calendars, and the busyness of everyday life. It was so peaceful and refreshing for us. If you bring enough food you can plan on not ever having to leave the whole time you are there, and truly get a retreat!

Fishing with brothers

This comfortable cabin was perfect for a base camp for me and my brothers to explore and fish in the area. The outdoor fire pit was a plus with ample wood to burn. Very quiet setting with comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. We hope to return another time.

Great location and peacefulness!!

Right on the water, very nice log home and oh so quiet! The fire pit was very much enjoyed and access to owners water toys was wonderful! Owner was very responsive! Great place!

Nice weekend getaway

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The owner was responsive. The area is beautiful. It snowed and rained a majority of our visit so we didn’t get to explore much or enjoy the outdoor space or water options. Overall we had a great trip!!

Great times in the deep woods

Heaven on earth

We were so delighted to have all of the different watercraft to enjoy this beautiful, clean, peaceful lake!! Swimming was awesome!! The dock and all the seating on the porch and in the cabin were perfect for spending time together!! We had everything we needed in the kitchen too! Thanks for a wonderful week!

Beautiful Setting

We have always loved the wilderness and the Swan Valley. 32 years ago my wife and I had a picnic on this very spot next to the lake, and she said if this ever comes up for sale, we are buying it! Thank goodness I was a Realtor, as just one year later, I noticed it came on the market. And here we are.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Swimming in the lake, reading a good book by the fireplace, hiking right out the back door to national forest servce land, enjoying the evening on the deck, a great campfire, enjoying the peace and quiet, feeding the stellar and gray jays, watching the deer, hiking to wilderness lakes, dinner at the Hungry bear, hiking to Holland falls. Just plain relaxing.
