Step into the warmth of knowing you’re home when you walk into this beautifully renovated property full of Highlands history and charm.  Overlooking the pasture that once belonged to infamous log home builder, Joe Webb, Sanctuary Cottage offers an abundance of room and areas for retreat and relaxation.  The living room has plenty of comfortable seating around the beautiful stone fireplace with large flat screen tv.  Cozy up with a good book and a cup of afternoon tea in the respite room, which offers a comfy chair and day bed overlooking the expansive open deck. 
Speaking of decks….the covered screen deck and the large open deck are two additional living spaces where you can breathe in Highlands fresh mountain air.  Settle in to watch the sun set over the Fishhawk mountains and the stars come out across the wide-open, dark night sky. When you retire for the evening, you may choose from three bedrooms—a King with private bath and 2 Twins with hall bath on one end of the house, and King master with private bath on the other. Meals prepared in the brand new kitchen can be enjoyed by two fireside, six in the dining area, four on the screened porch or eight dining al fresco on the deck. Less than two miles from the city center and a stones-throw from Bridal Veil Falls, hikers will enjoy walking out front door of the house and taking a neighborhood trail to Cliffside Lake.

[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.
