Welcome to Bayside Pearl, your 'Best Vacation Ever'.   This gorgeous and completely renovated midtown condo is located in the highly sought after bay front community @ Thunder Island.  This unit is in the 'D' building on the 5th floor. 2 blocks from the beach!  Enjoy sunsets on our private deck, sunning and swimming at our bay front pool, fishing from the community pier, and if you want, bring a boat and keep it for the week at the marina.  

Bayside Pearl is rented to you directly by the owners, Ruth and Barry. No rental agency to deal with!

Location, Location, Location.   Midtown OC is the best place to be.   Located next to the convention center, there is so much that is a short walk away.  Beaches, Seacrets, Castle in the Sand, Jolly Rogers amusement park,  to name but a few.  And the bus is located right in front to take you anywhere you want to go in OC.  

Bayside Pearl is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium that sleeps 8.   The master bedroom has a king size bed in and their own private bathroom.  The 2nd bedroom has a Queen size and a full size.   A queen sleeper sofa is located in the living room.     

Linens and Towels are included in all rentals. There are 4 beach chairs, beach toys and beach cart also available for use by renters.

There are 3 televisions in total.  The living room contains a massive 65" television, while both bedrooms contain a 40" television.  All televisions are smart televisions, with open HDMI ports for your playstations or other entertainment.

While there are so many restaurants that are a short walk away, you will love this wonderful kitchen.  The  kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, new high quality cabinets, with gorgeous tile flooring.   Dine out, eat in, the Bayside Pearl will accommodate either!   

Sunsets, water front, privacy.  The balcony on Bayside Pearl has all 3.  A picture is worth a 1000 words.  Just look at our balcony and imagine yourself there.   Best vacation ever!

Saturday to Saturday rentals are required during the summer (Memorial day - Labor Day). 2 day rentals are required off season.

Bayside Pearl Specific Rules:
* Check in time is at 4:00pm, Check out at 11:00am
* 2 parking permits and 8 pool permits are provided.  
* This rental applies to family or groups over 25 in age. Groups under 25 in age, Non-chaperoned, high school or college groups are not permitted.  A doorbell camera is at the unit that is used to verify renters are of age.
* No pets are permitted at Thunder Island
* Bring all toiletries, food, coffee, trash bags.  
* Linens and towels are included in rentals.  
* You are responsible for any damage to unit.
* Boat slips are on as available basis. Please contact the Thunder Island Harbor Master at thunderislandhoa@gmail.com for further details on getting boat slips and current rental costs.
* Unit must be cleaned before leaving.

Great location

Great location with beautiful views and close to everything — shops, restaurants, and attractions are all within walking distance. However, the cleanliness was a major issue. The place was not clean at all, which really took away from the experience. They really need to focus more on maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness. If they improve on that, it could be a fantastic stay.

Girls weekend

We enjoyed our long weekend away and plan on booking again for next year. The condo is in a great location and close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The hallway closet was a nice touch and we appreciated it. I’m glad that we could still use the pool and that beach essentials were available.

Great condo! Clean and homey, loved the decor. Many little added touches that went above and beyond (Beach supplies: cart, chairs, toys etc…, welcome gifts, and linens!) The kitchen was also well supplied. Loved the pool, balcony, central OC location. Would stay here again!

AMAZING CONDO AND LOCATION!!!!

We had an absolutely great experience in Ocean City. The condo was updated and beautiful. My favorite was sitting on the balcony in the early morning watching the dolphins and enjoying the peace and quiet. We had questions about local activities and the owners were very helpful and quick to respond. We recommend staying here 100%

Wow. Just Wow!

I have to say all the fantastic reviews did make me a little suspicious. I mean really, what rental is “perfect”? This one is. THIS ONE. The location is awesome—quiet on the bay side, but a quick walk across the street to the beach made it a breeze to enjoy both sides. We spent a sick amount of time on the crazy large balcony. We visited out there, ate out there, slept out there, and relaxed out there. There was always a breeze and always peaceful. We mostly cooked all of our meals. The kitchen had more than your average rental. Barry and Ruth have thought of everything. Even for amateur gourmet chefs like ourselves. The cookware is very high quality, there were plenty of storage containers (I don’t see that in rentals). We did try to local restaurants: one hit (Ristorante Antipasti—insanely fabulous) and one miss (Tap House—great view, but the food was awful.) The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like babies. The communication was outstanding. The response time from Ruth/Barry was lightening fast. These folks treated us like family. There were so many little things that you just don’t see at other rentals. Things like extra hooks in the bathroom and bedrooms. Tons of pillows and blankets. There were stuffed toys (for little ones) and toys for the beach. There was a whole folder of local restaurants (with comments about the extra good ones). This is the real deal. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Ruth and Barry!!

Amazing Spot!

We had a glorious time at the Bayside Pearl! Ruth and Barry have created a gorgeous space for relaxing and spending time with family! Parking as well as access to the condo were both amazing! The pool, dock and surrounding areas were extremely clean. We will definitely be booking again!

Great location

The condo is in a great location and the owner is extremely responsive. The kitchen had plenty of utensils & pots & pans. The view of the bayside is fantastic especially in the evenings. The only problem we ran into is my sister uses a walker and the bathroom door's were not wide enough for her to enter.

Best place for bike week!

We were all wowed by this property from the moment we arrived. Right next to the convention center everything was in walking distance or the we took the bus. We will definitely book here again.

Loved our stay

2nd year at Bayside Pearl everything about this place is perfect! The view, the pool by the bay and the furniture is comfy! Everything is updated and clean the owners communicate with you and are very nice. I love midtown and the access to beach is so close. To go to beach everything is there as well as to cook and clean. The linen service and parking passes are wonderful! I definitely plan to stay again with my family if I go to OC this is my spot to stay!

Great 2 bedroom condo

Great 2 bedroom condo with beautiful side view of the bay. Short walk to the beach. Close to Jolly Rogers, many restaurants, and a short drive to the boardwalk. Owners were very responsive and hospitable. We have stayed many places in Ocean City but this was one of our favorites. We rented a slip for our boat and Ken and Russ were great as well. We really enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation.

We loved this condo. It was clean, modern and the view of the bay was spectacular. The owners were very sweet and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. I will say the only negative experience we had was the lifeguard at the pool was pretty abrasive. I know she has a job to do but she seemed to have rubbed a few of the parents the wrong way. Other then that the place was perfect for us.

Home away from home

Great location and beautiful Condo

This best thing about this condo was the easy access to the beach across the street. My parents and sister live in Ocean City and they were able to come and park right on 39th street just steps from the beach. The convention center parking lot is also available for beach parking as well. The condo was super nice and renovated even though you can tell the building is not new. We were lucky enough to have a wonderful bagpipe player come one night and play during the sunset down on the docks. Everyone watched from their balconies and applauded at the end.

This place was fantastic.! Hosts were great and maintained great communication through out our stay (just to check up on us!). Location was ideal for us and this was just perfect. Condo was super nice, modernized and clean. Will be booking another stay next year for sure! Thank you so miucb!!

Best vacation ever!

We loved this property! Stylish, Fully stocked and Clean! So this property was comfortable, cute and full of character! Everything we could have possibly needed to use was there, kitchen utensils, beach cart accessories all organized! The balcony was our spot huge and comfy furniture with a gorgeous view! Plenty of room for my three grown to growing up kids in bedroom with a queen and a full and sofa pull out these boys needed leg room and they got it! A pool, 2 car spaces, and a short walk to beach midtown this property checked all the boxes! The property has local art displayed giving it an added touch of interest in the local areas with plenty of books and magazines on the area the owners love! Ruth and Barry really love the area and want to share the experience with others! We will definitely be back for the best vacation ever!!!!!
