Year round 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home situated on 1/3 of an acre of waterfront property on beautiful Echo Lake in Presque Isle. Home is a destination for spring and summer fun, fall foliage, hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling. Wifi and Spectrum TV are included as well as parking for your trailer. Quoggy Jo Lake Road is a dead end road with only a few homes for peace and tranquility yet located only a few miles from downtown Presque Isle and across the lake from Aroostook State Park.

Awesome property

We had an amazing time. Fishing is great. Close to town for supplies. House is very roomy and very nice! We are planning on doing it again!!

Peaceful getaway

The property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The neighbors are very friendly. We got into town earlier than expected and Jana allowed us to check in early which we were very grateful for after driving 14 hours. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Jana was awesome to work with. She made everything very easy! She was also very easy to get ahold of for any questions. The house is super clean and has everything you could need. Such a gem

This is our second stay at this property. And we'll be back. It is a perfect little get away spot, with perfect fresh snow. Jana's communication was lovely and she was so very accommodating to our needs. We arrived early and was offered early check-in. We very much appreciate Jana and this little gem of a spot on Echo Lake.

Our recent 8-night stay at the Echo Lake Cottage was an absolute delight! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to Jana and Tammy our Host’s prompt and friendly communication. They even allowed us to check in early after a long drive, which was greatly appreciated. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, with stunning views of Echo Lake that made every day a truly relaxing delight.The location is a perfect balance of serene and convenient, just a short drive to downtown Presque Isle for supplies or dining, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true escape. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to board games that kept us entertained with our grandkids. This was our second stay here and it won’t be our last if the cottage is available on our next trip. The cottage is a true gem, perfect for families looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful Location

My husband and I come to ME every couple of years to see family, but have never stayed in this property. However we will definitely stay here again! It is a lovely property with beautiful views of the lake. It was well equipped with the necessary items including some games for a rainy day. (We even left a few more). There was a firepit down by the lake that we managed to enjoy a few times. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay on this property.

Hidden Gem

Was stationed at the air force base 40 years ago. Never knew Echo Lake existed. Finding this cabin, on a lake, across from Aroostook State Park was amazing. Even the neighbor was so friendly. It was just the two of us this time. Would love to bring family back to this property as it could house all of us. Fall colors were just kicking in. No eagle sighting in the nest, maybe next time. Special place to stay and location was perfect to return to at the end of each days activities.

Wonderful little gem!

This was absolutely what my family needed this holiday. My sons (20 and 22) had their own space to chill. There was plenty of room for us all and we were able to enjoy some good family down time. Lots of options on television/ streaming, as well as lots of games that we could use. Kitchen was well equipped. Easy to get to Presque Isle to visit family and friends. Hosts were spectacular, and responded to any request, instantly. Driveway was plowed, cleared and salted for us. We will be back!

Peaceful, immaculate and convenient base for exploring Aroostook Viunty

My husband and I found this cozy home on Echo Lake super comfortable for cooking meals and relaxing after each of our 5 days of exploring the area. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Their home was a convenient starting point for going over to hike in Aroostook State Park ( rental canoes available for a couple of dollars), stopping by the nearby cross-Atlantic balloon flight (1978) monument on Spragueville Rd., biking the Aroostook trail out of Presque Isle, driving up to Fort Kent and having lunch at the Lakeside Restaurant, visiting the Acadian Village and Tante Blanche Museum in Madawaska, and stopping along the road to buy potatoes from the little self-service stands. We even found the Bouchard Farms Ploye (Acadian buckwheat pancake/crepe) mix in the nearby IGA store up Rt 1. The Maine Solar System model running over 90 miles along Rt. 1 from Houlton to Presque Isle also made the drive to the lodging interesting. We both recommend a multi-day stay to get to know this part of northern Maine while enjoying a homey lakeside setting.

Excellent location

Communication with the host was outstanding from start to finish. The location is close to ITS 83 snowmobile trail and allows access to rides throughout the county. This is our 2nd time staying at Echo Lake. The house was perfect for our group of 4 snowmobile riders. Love the sunset views and enjoyed working with the hosts.

Snowmobile trip

Very nice cottage. Has 4 beds with 3 queens. Good location close to trails. Nice quiet neighborhood with a friendly neighbor. Owners were excellent to work with and very communicative.

Slice of paradise

Beautiful lake home, well equipped kitchen and home. The area is teaming with wild life - bald eagles, river otters and many other bird species. Hiking is available across the lake. Kayak and canoe rentals available from Perception of Aroostook, with drop off and pick up service. The sunset view from the backyard makes for a perfect ending. Excellent host, who checked in to see if we needed anything or had any questions.

Echo Lake overlooks Aroostook State Park directly across the lake. It is peaceful and serene in any season. There are always activities here at the home, from snowmobiling in winter, to renting Kayaks in summer, fishing in the spring when the lake is stocked, or enjoying the foliage in the fall!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Adequate parking for two snowmobile trailers. Guests have brought two trucks and trailers and access to the ITS trail system in winter months when the lake is frozen without having to trailer to the snowmobile clubhouse across the lake. This property is located on a dead end street, with only a few neighbors, it is a wonderfully private spot for any getaway.
