Must see the Up Cabin in the Hideout

Enjoy your next adventure here at the Up Cabin, themed after the Pixar Movie Up. A quiet, airy, family friendly vacation home set in the woods with many local activities within the Hideout community. 

The Hideout is a premier 4 Star private community with 24/7 secured, gated access.  Indoor and outdoor amenities year-round  (some may include a fee)

Our house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, this spacious 2414 sq ft home has 3 Beds / 2 Full Baths over two floors.  Large windows allow the sunshine throughout the open floor concept.  Strong Wi-Fi access throughout both floors.  Marvel Arcade game and Foosball in the back! Linens, bath towels and beach towels included.  Will also include the following amenities to get you started: dish soap, hand soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels.  House cleaning to covid19 CDC standards. As we are severely allergic to pets, unfortunately are not allowed.

Access to these amenities is for Hideout guests only (we will supply passes) - please note some have additional fees:
⁃ Pool & Beaches: two outdoor swimming pools and two beaches.

⁃ Golf: Located in the North Section of the community, The Hideout Golf Course features 9 challenging holes totaling 3,344 yards of green expanse.

⁃ Ski Hill: ski mountain, snow tubing and a natural ice skating rink, dependent on weather conditions and MUST reserve in advance with the Ski Hill.  Rental Shop has skis, snowboards and ice skates for rent. Ski School offers lessons for skiing and snowboarding.

⁃ The Recreational Sports Complex

⁃ Roaming Woods Lake (1.9 miles) - can rent jet-skis, powerboats, and other types of water-crafts.

****Please Note: This home is located in a secured, gated, private community. You will need to fill out a rental contract and agree to the community and house rules. Any violations will be subject to citations from the community and possible eviction from the property. It will be sent to you by our property manager upon booking. This will need to be completed within 72 hours of your arrival or the community will assess a $100 late fee that you will be responsible for. You may not exceed the max amount of people allowed and there are no more than 3 cars allowed in the driveway. No other guests can visit the lot while you are there. Items provided in the home to include games, appliances etc. are subject to change without notice. ****

The space was perfect for our family. It was exactly as it was listed but the kitchen was fully stocked, a bonus. Great rental in a great location. Neighbors were friendly. We will stay here again.

We absolutely loved this house!!! The location was perfect so close to everything ... loved that it had a large kitchen and dining table that held 8 ppl.... also loved that it was on a quiet court for the kids to play.... communication with owner/property manager was extremely prompt.... and they were also amazing ! We absolutely love staying in the hideout and this is definitely our favorite house that we've stayed in so far! Can't wait to come back in December!

A bit disappointing

Condition of property was not accurately portrayed in the listing photos. Cracked window, loose trim boards, unpainted drywall patches, missing patio door shade panels. Entry light fixture not operational.Amenities listed at resort were only available on weekends (pools,boat rentals, etc.) or no longer in operation.(miniture golf) .Club House Restuarant only open for lunch 2 days per week.

Very nice house within walking distance to the north pool

This house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. When we weren't outside enjoying the pool and beaches, the kids had plenty to do inside with the foos ball table, arcade games, Wii, etc. The realtor, Candace, was also very responsive and quick to answer all of the questions we had. We would stay here again!

Great time at the Up house

Property was as advertised and had everything we needed for our weekend stay in the Poconos. When we arrived the house was spotlessly clean and inviting. The cabinets were well stocked with all of the kitchen gadgets you need which to me is essential in a rental property.

Fun week at the UP Cabin

We had a good week at the UP Cabin. The only issues we had from a cleanliness perspective were not the fault of the property owner, it seems the tenants before us were a little sloppy and managed to leave behind some things. Had a plumbing issue during the week but the owner had it taken care of ASAP for us, very much appreciated. They have done a nice job with the house for sure. Love the wood panel walls and ceiling, and the kitchen is REALLY well stocked for your stay. Our kids really enjoyed it and all in all had a great week. We had a bit of a drive to the lake because of construction at the North gate where we would normally cross into the other side of the Hideout. Again, completely out of control of the property owner and not their fault at all. Well kept house though! Thank you!

I chose this property because of all of the amenities in the listing and the beautiful photos of the house. As soon as you pull into the driveway you realize the beautiful yellow umbrella from the picture is laying in a dirty puddle, the wood on the deck is splintered and deteriorating. I can’t say that the inside of the house was dirty, it seemed to have been freshly cleaned. There was a dead cockroach on the dining room floor on the second morning and a live cockroach climbing the wall a few days later. There is a large stain on the carpet, multiple places where trim is broken and or falling off. I asked the property manager for assistance with the televisions to which she said, there’s a book somewhere. You won’t need to search for a book but make sure you bring your own batteries for the remotes. Let’s touch on the pools in case you think you’re swimming in June- only on the weekends. The pools aren’t open during the week until July. The beach is though but you will have to pee in the lake because the bathrooms are locked, the tiki bar is shutdown and so is the snack shack. Don’t bother jamming your tennis rackets and balls in your trunk for this trip either because the outdoor courts are locked and it’s 30 to play inside. I think anyone looking at this property deserves to read the fine print (that isn’t posted). It’s a lot of money to pay to be misled. With all the framed rules on the walls you think they would provide what is advertised.

Great mountain retreat

Our family used to have a house in the Hideout and we were looking to relive some of our old/good times. The Up house was a wonderful house that gave us the chance to enjoy family, the mountains, lakes and the quiet we remembered. We highly recommend this property.
