I warmly welcome you to the beautiful Moselle town of Oberfell and would be delighted to have you as my guests in this vacation rental, which was renovated and refurnished in May 2020.
The vacation rental is located in a new development on a quiet street.
Accessible via a separate entrance, the approximately 130-square-meter apartment features a spacious, bright living room with a reading nook in the bay window, an adjoining dining room with a tiled stove, a total of 3 bedrooms (one double bed with an additional flat-screen TV, one box-spring bed, and one single bed), a bathroom with shower/toilet and bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, oven, coffee maker, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, etc.) with a separate dining area, a guest restroom, a playroom for the little ones located in the attic, and two balconies, each with a view of the Moselle.
You can use our free Wi-Fi to plan your day trips or check your emails.
Parking spaces are available on-site. Cars and motorcycles can be parked securely in the garage.
Please understand that, out of consideration for future guests, smoking is not permitted in the apartment, and pets are not allowed.
If the apartment is fully booked or if you are interested in a smaller apartment, please visit https://www.gästehaus-probst.de in the neighboring town of Alken.
Things to do:
Thanks to its central location, Oberfell and the surrounding area offer numerous activities for vacationers.
Nature lovers will find an extensive network of hiking trails. The so-called “Traumpfade” (Dream Trails) are particularly popular. These are circular hiking trails certified by the German Hiking Institute, ranging in difficulty, that are well-signposted and offer magnificent viewpoints. You can access the “Beidenberger Ausblicke” Dream Trail directly from the house. The “Hatzenporter Laysteig” and the “Niederfeller Schwalbensteig” are also just a few kilometers away.
We also recommend the “Zeitreise” (Journey Through Time) themed trail, which runs between Alken and Oberfell, where you’ll encounter historical artifacts at every turn—from the era of early hunters and gatherers all the way to the recent past.
Cyclists can either take a leisurely ride along the Moselle without having to tackle any elevation changes, or pedal up into the hills of the Eifel and Hunsrück.
Tennis enthusiasts can use the courts at TC Oberfell for a fee.
Those less athletically inclined can enjoy the beauty of the Moselle Valley on a leisurely boat trip to Cochem or take a cruise aboard the “MS Goldstück.”
