This clean and cozy beach bungalow is perfect for your next trip to Folly Beach! This retreat is a freshly-updated three-bedroom, two-full bath cottage that is only a two-minute walk to the beach. It is also only three blocks from Center Street, home to great restaurants, quaint shops, and the famous Folly Pier–close enough to stroll to dinner, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing getaway. There is plenty of parking to leave your car while you navigate the island on foot or bike if you wish. The professionally landscaped yard is fully fenced and private, with plenty of space to enjoy being outdoors. This home also offers a level 2 EV charger.

After a fun day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower and changing area that is covered in climbing jasmine. Grill your dinner and dine al fresco on the picnic table or in the spacious, screened porch (affectionately known as “Gimme Shelter”), which is the perfect year-round outdoor hangout spot! The first and second bedrooms each have a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two queen beds, all with fresh, clean linens and pillows. There are two full bathrooms with plenty of fluffy towels.

The large, open kitchen is perfect for family meals and is fully equipped with everything you will need, including lots of extras to make your stay easy and enjoyable. There is a "kids table", a Pack N' Play, and a highchair if you need them.

Just one block away is one of Folly Beach’s public parks with a nice tennis court, basketball court, and a great Pirate Cove playground for the kids.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Clean and cute
This house was clean and had plenty of room for us to spread out. It was too cold to enjoy the outside screen room, but what a fun space. We would rent here again.

Perfect stay for our family
Soulshine was fun! Short walks to the beach, downtown Folly and playground. With a 20 minute drive to Charleston it was the perfect distance between everything we wanted to do. House was well equipped and clean. The hammock was a hit with our kids as was the backyard screened pavilion. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Great Dog-Friendly Rental
We enjoyed our stay at Soulshine. Dog friendly, which is important to us as we travel with our two Basset Hounds. We loved the fenced yard and the screened porch room off the back. Location was great. Dryer was still not working - I would have given it a five rating except I just read an earlier review about the dryer but when I reported it, they claimed they did not know it wasn't working. That was a bit disappointing as we had to wash clothes at the house and then had to take to the laundromat to dry. However, overall the house was great and would definitely come back.

Potential but fell flat
Great location. 3 bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, games and enough space for us all to be together. However, multiple issues from there. It seems as if management doesn’t care about this house. It was kind of clean, but not well. Mold on shower curtains, light bulbs burnt out. There were also amenity issue. Dryer didn’t work and they couldn’t fix while we were there, they suggested we replace the lightbulbs ourselves, blankets smelled like mildew, tv in the back bedroom didn’t work. They did refund me a percentage of the stay which helped but only after I reached out multiple times. Again, it was like Vacasa really didn’t care about the property or the guests. I wouldn’t stay at this house again.

Needs some TLC
Overall, this house is comfortable and in a great spot. I booked this house because of the amenities advertised. One big miss was that the dryer was not functioning. The handyman was friendly and quick to respond, but could not fix it and asked, "didn't they tell you the dryer wasn't working?" That, and the fenced yard for our dogs were the reasons I picked Soulshine. It is fenced, but has several place where dogs can escape. Only one TV in the house works, the one in the back bedroom had to be replaced and is useless. It is plugged into a drop cord that has to be shared with anything else you need to plug in. The cookware was teflon coated and was scratched so badly we couldn't use it. It also needs a good deep cleaning. The sofas and beds were comfy and clean, and the toliets, sinks, and tubs were clean, but there were cobwebs in the corners in all the rooms, ceiling fans were dirty, and there was a coating of dust on pictures, and window treatments. The grill had caked on grime on the grates along with a worn out wire brush for cleaning it. We ended up eating out mostly. This place could be fantastic with just a few upgrades.
