This contemporary coastal home sits just 55 feet from beautiful Quahog Bay with renovations completed in 2024. The interior is a seaside pallet with many designer touches and nautical accents. This gem of a property is truly "The Way Life Should Be." Watch the boat traffic in beautiful Orrs Cove, curl up with a good book in the hammock, enjoy morning coffee or glass of wine in the Adirondacks by the water's edge; explore amazing local hikes; a sunrise kayak, steam fresh lobsters and enjoy local seafood; check out the many fabulous local restaurants; take aday trip to Portland and nearby beaches and coastal towns.

Our home offers a well-appointed kitchen, new appliances, furniture, furnishings, an open concept living/dining room with cathedral ceilings, sweeping water views, cozy living room with a gas fireplace, master suite and a sunny loft.

Amazing and Relaxing

We could not have had a better stay at this property. The house itself and location are just beautiful, it made for the most relaxing trip. Everything inside the home is clean, new, and renter-friendly. Outside, the views are breathtaking and the wildlife is an added bonus. The host, Lisa, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended for a getaway! We will definitely return in the future to explore more of what the area has to offer.

Spectacular House

Lisa and Tim’s house was absolutely perfect. Could not have asked for better accommodations. Spotless, the most comfortable beds ever, wonderful contact with the owner, Lisa, everything was very modern, and just the overall most wonderful accommodations. We had the best time. We highly recommend Sea Salt for your stay in Harpswell, Maine. If we ever return we will look no further than Sea Salt. Thank you Lisa and Tim.

Beautiful views and property

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The owner was very easy to communicate with and check in/out went seamlessly. The location and property is amazing. Beautiful views, and all updated interior furnishings. This is probably one of the nicest properties we’ve ever stayed in for a VRBO. just having our coffee and sitting against the picturesque window, we had two bald eagles perch on the tree above. Just gorgeous! We were all impressed at the interior design and choice of finishes. Owner must be a designer;) All necessities and extras were there as well. If we are back in this area, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful waterfront home and property!

We have been renting waterfront homes around Maine for the last 10 years and Sea Salt was one of our favorities! Absolutely beautiful home, very comfortable beds (master was amazing!), including basic ammenities (TP, PT, hand soap, all kitchen utensils, appliances etc.) and gorgeous water views from every window. We loved the spacious lounge/dining room with bar and had many family card games of Uno by the fire, and morning coffee gazing out at the water. Beautifully decorated home, nice nautical touches, very comfortable. Easy location to Cooks Corner for groceries, fabulous breakfast spot- walking distance, Iris Eats (YUM), quick drive to Wild Oats which we love, and about 25-30 min to Freeport/LL Bean and 40 min to Portland. Hosts were very communicative and responsive. Overall, lovely experience and we'd love to return!

Perfect views and location

From start to finish Lisa and Tim had great communication. This house is located perfectly no matter what you are in the area to do. Within 20 minutes of arrival we saw a seal heading out of Orrs Cove looking right at us like it was part of the welcome wagon. From relaxing while sitting in an Adirondack chair and observing nature to shopping... hiking ....you name it ... it's all 10 to 15 minutes away. The house is laid out well with views of the water everywhere not to mention the nice decks. Without a doubt we will be back to enjoy this wonderful getaway.

Wonderful

The property and home were beautiful, well kept and clean. The photos shown on the website were accurate but didn't even do it justice. The setting was gorgeous, right on the water, and was complete with sunrises and boat activity from the nearby marina, all of which contributed to the relaxing atmosphere. Beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely return!

Wonderful Fall Getaway for our Anniversary!!

We can't express how much we loved this place!! This property lived up to all of our expectations and more! Lisa was fabulous and very communicative from the start. She provided us with alot of information with places to dine and trails to go hiking within the area. The window views and the outside deck and property views of the water were amazing. The house was very clean, modern and stocked with everything you could need. The master bed was extremely comfortable and provided an incredible view to wake up too! We had a really great time here in Harpswell. The people were friendly and the area is beautiful!! We would highly recommend. Hope we can return next year! Thanks Again Lisa!!

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

Everything from A to Z was fantastic about this property. The owners were so easy to contact, and they were super helpful with any questions we had. The property is one that can't be justified by pictures, it is much nicer than the photo's on VRBO. It wasn't that the pictures are bad, it's just too naturally beautiful there to capture with a camera. We just kept saying "wow" at how beautiful it was, whether enjoying the view from the living room, kitchen, the deck or out near the water. Every part of the house was incredibly comfortable. The couch, the bed, the dining table chairs, and the deck furniture were all "fall asleep in" comfortable. We have rented many VRBO's before, but this place is easily our favorite. And to top things off, there is a breakfast/lunch place a short walk from the house that has some outstanding food. If you want to stay in Harpswell, this is your place.

Excellent Place

The house was perfect. It was nice and clean on arrival. The place had great natural sunlight, even in the winter time when we stayed. It’s drenched in sunlight in the mornings. The cove gives and endless show throughout the rest of the day. Harpswell is a beautiful part of Maine. I will certainly consider staying here again.

Winter in Harpswell

While in the Harpswell/Brunswick area to help out with our grandchildren, my husband and I found Sea Salt to be a beautiful and tranquil refuge. Sea Salt is airy and spacious, yet warm & cozy on frigid winter days, especially with the availability of a gas fireplace. Furnishings are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the latest in home entertainment is provided. Huge picture windows on three sides of the living area offer gorgeous views of Quahog Bay and a vantage point for enjoying tranquil sunrises as well as observing the occasional visit of an eagle, a curious seal, and a variety of diving ducks. Before the snow & ice set in, we enjoyed exploring all the hiking trails Harpswell has to offer – just minutes from Sea Salt. The Saulters are gracious & helpful hosts and we look forward to returning in the future – Thank you!

Life long Mainers who embrace the outdoors in every season. We are avid boaters who love Casco Bay. 20 years ago we dropped an anchor in Quahog Bay and fell in love with the area. Over the years, we dreamed about owning a home here 'someday'. Our 'someday' became a reality in 2020 when we purchased SeaSalt. We've spent the last 2 years renovating the interior and adding many special, nautical touches. Over the years we've renovated and rented several vacation homes consistently receiving 5 star reviews.

IT'S ON THE WATER...IN MAINE. Truly a special harbor, protected and calm with lots of marine life and beautiful boats coming and going, in every season. Private, quiet, yet just a short drive to hiking trails and local amenities at Cook's Corner (6 minutes), Brunswick/Topsham/Bath (10-15 minutes) and Portland is only 40 minutes south. Cozy, very sunny. Lots of great restaurants and day trips to coastal towns and the city of Portland.

Single floor living, new everything, uncluttered and clean, with infinity water views, gas fireplace, high-end appliances, cathedral ceilings, loft (ideal for remote work). Private, quiet yet super convenient location. 50 feet from the water. Our pics don't do the windows in the living room justice.
