Welcome to 10 Island Edge Drive, a beautiful four-story townhouse in the Heart of Sunset Island sporting renovations which include new outdoor furniture for the first and third-floor decks. The huge kitchen features a breakfast bar and sitting area, making for a great spot for entertaining or just spreading out during your vacation. Located on a quiet and picturesque street, the location is great too. Kick back in the large living room with balcony views of quaint Island Edge Drive. There is ample parking with a driveway and a two-car garage, plus an outdoor shower installed for your convenience. This is Sunset Island at its finest!

The home is located about three blocks from the ocean and just a block-and-a-half from the world-class amenities! The 37-acre island community is located on 67th Street. The condo and the private, gated community are perfect for a family to spend a relaxing week at the beach. You'll be just two blocks from the ocean, restaurants, mini-golf, the OC Bus, and shops. The community includes an indoor and outdoor pool, three private beaches, boat slips, a crabbing pier, an island cafe and pool bar, a general store, 24-hour security, gated access, and an interactive fountain.

Things to Know
A building registration fee includes six facility passes and three parking passes. Additional facility passes are $75 per pass, per person per week. Children three and under do not require a facility pass. The fees are the following:
Winter (January 1 - April 30 and October 1 – December 31) = $100. Spring (May 1- May 23) = $150. Summer (Sunday BEFORE Memorial Day, May 24 to Saturday AFTER Labor Day, September 12) = $200. Fall (September 13 September 30) = $150.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 3 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family vacation

Big enough for our family vacation. The house needs a some additional kitchen items. A few finishing touches could really take this place over the top. Overall our family was very happy with our week spent at Sunset Island!!

Served its purpose

The house was good the weekend and it served its purpose, but it is need of some repair and attention. It was clean and the beds comfortable enough. The A/C unit condensation drained on all of the front decks so you had to be careful sitting out there. There is mold in the main bathroom water closet. To top it off there was no grill. I would select another property. The best party of the property is that it was right at the front which was convenient if you wanted to walk to the stores.

Lovely home, but.....

I booked this home last minute after my original booking was cancelled. My family and I were pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The home was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities. My only complaint is we received 6 passes for the pool. I had to purchase a 7th pass at a cost of $70 so my mother could sit on a chair and watch her great grandchildren play in the water. We spoke with other vacationers who ran into the same problem. Not enough passes for the number of people staying int the home.

Large home with lots of space. Seemed reasonably priced for the area. Amenities (gym, pool) were great! Strangely only 6 passes provided despite a house that has capacity for many more than 6. More passes could be purchased, but that shouldn’t be on the renter. Biggest complaint is that several days there was a very noticeable sewage smell throughout the community. The OC waste water treatment facility is very close by so depending on which way the wind blows…. It was pretty hot, so we had AC on and windows shut and it was NOT noticeable inside the house itself.

Not pleased

This property had mold everywhere. Tried to get a hold of the support team. It just rang and rang. The place wasn’t clean. Carpets weren’t vacuumed. Showers weren’t cleaned out. Mold under master bathroom sink was Terrible…tried to cover it with towels that had mold growing on it. Mold on ceiling’s from water leaking…paint jobs that were done terrible…expected way better from sunset island Will never rent this property again and told all our friends about it

Ideal location but pricey

Our family has been going to Sunset Island for 16 years, it has something for everyone if not there then near by. Sad to say it will be our last year there, price has jumped $2000.00 from last year and it's out of our price range.

Needs Improvements!

This is our second time staying at Sunset Island. Our party is two adult couples with our adult children 10 in total. VACASA check-in process is extremely unorganized and there is NO social distancing! They need to adapt to a touch less process with door codes and early check if units are ready. They made every rental in the area wait in a crowded parking lot with no parking until exactly 4 pm. Behind the closed window were plenty of units ready to be accessed but they ridiculously make you wait until 4 pm. The Sunset Island 5 bedroom 4 and a half units are huge with plenty of room (a lot of stairs not good for elderly or handicap). The resort facilities and amenities are convenient. We enjoy full beach days and come back for a swim, appetizers and drinks by the pool. A major downside was the bar manager not serving our legal twenty one and over guests due to our CT state license being vertical. (a huge financial loss to them but they insist its a MD regulation) The unit is due for a major spruce up! It looks like it was furnished with higher end items many years ago. Stained furniture and rugs and rusted vents, paint gouges on walls, old bathrooms broken faucets etc. Basically in need of a remodel. No hooks, towel bars or shower shelving for bath item necessities. The kitchen is in desperate need of an overhaul of housewares and appliances. We cook in a lot, everything was miss match and old with a non functioning toaster and no Keurig etc. No furniture on the front porch to sit and relax. ***Renters beware the unit is price gouged more that $3,000 dollars than what we paid for a summer week*** I have been renting and researching properties for well over 20 years. The price the owner and VACASA have this listed for now would be comparable to a luxury unit ocean side or ocean front. This property by far does not qualify for that price! We are a family of front line Covid workers that have been working since March 2020! We and so many others deserve a fair relaxing break without being taken advantage of.

Good Spot - house is a little tired

The house has a good location overall. There are no views to speak of from this house. The Front porch on the main floor is very comfortable but there is a lot of traffic due to being on the main boulevard right near the gatehouse. There are many things to do that are within walking distance. The pool is a 5 minute walk, the ocean 10 minutes (depending on the light on the main road), good restaurant (longboard cafe) right outside gate, Dunkin Donuts, Mini golf, shopping and a liquor store. The house itself though is very comfortable. The 5 bedrooms were great for the family. The house is in need of renovation. Things are showing their age. Maintenance is a little deferred as well. Nothing major but no one is looking at what needs to be done with a critical eye. The management company was really very unresponsive. We had ordered the linen package and when we started handing out the linens we realized these were the dirty linens from the people the prior week. Took a great deal of calling to get anyone to respond. I called to ask what the garage door code was. I'm still waiting for a call back. Everything worked in the house except the $99 mini-microwave which took forever to heat anything and the coffee maker that made a pot of coffee in about 20 minutes and had one of those pots that was impossible to pour without spilling. Small inconveniences though overall. We had a great week.

The positives include the location, the accommodations as a whole, beds were comfortable, easy walk to the ocean. Checking in and out was a bit of a pain, only property improvement would be more silverware.
