We had the BEST time staying here with our kids. There was a little confusion about checking in, as there is no "front desk" but after checking with the valet station, they were able to help us out. Every single employee working at Honua Kai was so friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to come back!

The resort had no staff to assist during a two day power outage and the room had no emergency supplies such as flashlights or batteries.

Great location, amazing views!

We stayed here to celebrate our baby’s first birthday and it was great. Clean, safe, and spacious. The resort itself has three pools and easy access to the beach making it nice for new parents to stay close by for naps but still enjoy Maui. Definitely will be back!

Great Location and fun for kiddos

This property was a wonderful location. Ground floor was very convenient for kids (strollers, pool toys, etc.) and the room was spacious, nice and clean. Everything that we needed was provided and the company was wonderful about providing extras for the kids (pack and play, booster seats). I love to go for morning walks and the path that runs along the beach was easy to access and safe. Our kids loved the pool and waterslides. Dukes was great to have on location as well. Hula Pie is a must try! Only complaint was that at check in we were told our room was ready and then when we got to the bell stand they did not have our key made because the bell stand hadn't check the messages from the property managers so I would just suggest double checking with the bell stand (calling the hotel). We had a car full of groceries and were worried about them sitting in the warm car but they had a refrigerator at the bell stand luckily. Overall a great place, great location and we would love to return!

This place was nice

This place was very clean if your looking for cleanest. It was a very easy process getting into the condo. There were a couple things that I wasn’t happy about. There was only hot water for 1 person to take a shower. The other 3 people in my family were taking luke warm showers or cold water shower. The condo is definitely not big enough for 4 people. I had to 2 kids that stayed on the pull out couch. (They we’re 6 and 8.) I should have gotten a 2 bed room. We never had space to just sit on the couch. The location is good, but the view stinks. Your are very close to the pools. Which is great, but the view when you get back to the condo it’s awful. All in all lol the condo was nice great place for family place but I would go to a 2 bedroom if your a family of 4.

A new water heater had just been installed so when you had contacted us, we promptly sent a technician to turn up the thermostat which fixed the issue.
