Property was accurately described and perfect for our stay in muncie. Bed was comfortable l, kitchen was well appointed, and bath towels were plentiful. Looking forward to staying here again. Mari is an excellent communicator.

Lovely stay

The property was quaint but was everything I needed. Close to everywhere I needed to be, especially campus. Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the stay.

Awesome property

I loved this house (clean, plenty of space for 1 or 2, well stocked, organized, etc.) There is a 13 page contract to sign (wear and tear is not defined and the owner may enter the property at any time, no cause needed) plus damage insurance that you cannot opt out of (at least I did not see a way to do so).

Quaint and clean

The property is very quaint but cozy and very clean. Everything you need is there. The outside of the property is well maintained although some of the surrounding properties are a bit run down. I would definitely stay there again. I would recommend the owner install a soap dish in the shower.

Cute and convenient

The Petite Retreat was perfect for my spouse and I as we were in town for a volleyball tournament for the weekend. Mari was communicative and we would recommend this place! Convenient location to Ball State .

A Lovely Tiny Home

Our Vrbo accommodations were just amazing. They exceeded our expectations for our extended visit in the area. The photographs on Vrbo are exactly as what you find when you stay. It was a wonderful, quiet, comfortable place to call home. Thanks for making our stay a truly enjoyable.

Petite Retreat was a Treat :)

We stayed at the Petite Retreat for a wedding that we had in Muncie Indiana and this adorable cottage did not disappoint! Imagine an upgraded hotel suite with full size kitchen and laundry with privacy. Since it was just my husband and I, we didn't need a lot of space and with wedding activities to attend, we knew we would be coming and going. The location was right by Ball State (definitely walkable) and plenty of restaurants to enjoy. There was also a walking trail with park right by the house which we enjoyed. Mari provided some great recommendations for places also to go which was awesome! Everything in the home was labeled and organized for easy finding. Towels/bed linens and even coffee was provided which was wonderful! I have no complaints whatsoever and would definitely go back if in the area. Much better option for a couple compared to a hotel :) Thank you so much Mari!

Ball State Graduation Weekend

It was perfect!! Absolutely wonderful. Tip - Put towels in the dryer when you take a shower. Then you have a nice warm towel when you get out.

Tiny House - BIG COMFORT

Second time at this property and we loved it even more this time. Stayed once with my daughter and once with my partner and we all enjoyed the Petite Retreat so very much. The host is delightful and even had a gift for us for being repeat guests. Can’t wait to stay there again! Thanks Mari!

Sweet Petite

The Petite retreat was perfect for my long term stay in Muncie while I took a 3-week painting class. Mari was helpful and quick to respond when I had a question. The home was well kept and had excellent amenities available with a book providing great detail about surrounding restaurants and activities. I would recommend the Petite Retreat to solo travelers or even a couple.

Beautiful

The pictures of this beauty were spot on. I have traveled extensively and this property is one of the best. The host helps anticipate any needs of clients and everything is labeled making it easy to find. The property is very clean and cozy.

Can’t Beat This Petite Retreat!

I love this clean, cozy space! Thanks to Mari’s excellent labeling I found everything I needed. I slept restfully each night and awoke refreshed and ready to spend the day with my friends. Kudos to Mari for creating this welcoming retreat!

An awesome option in Muncie!

My wife and I needed a place to stay after finding a lack of hotel rooms available in town and the Petite Retreat saved the day. I'm thrilled to see a great VRBO option like this in Muncie. It was incredibly clean and the host was easy to work with. I highly recommend it.

Ball State college Visit

My son and I stayed there for two nights to do a college visit at Ball State University. Location was perfect, suggestions of restaurants and places to go was great and the Petite Retreat could not have been better. Everything you need in 360 ft.²

Love this little retreat!

This little retreat was perfect! It was very clean with everything being newly remodeled. It was a quiet neighborhood and was easy to find. We loved the layout, and the owner was very easy to work with. We will definitely be staying here again!

Petite (Bike) Retreat

Visiting Muncie to see old sites and to travel part of the Cardinal Rail Trail. Property location ideal for access to Trail, restaurant for evening meal (and Starbuck's for breakfast/starter coffee!). Owner was very available by message and rapidly responsive to questions and concerns during our stay! Small retreat that has everything - especially appreciated ability to do mid-vacation laundry loads!

Perfect cottage for two

New, clean, well-organized, and a perfect location for us, or anyone visiting Ball State University. White River Greenway for walking or biking is just a block away, and that connects to the much longer Cardinal Greenway. Layout of the cottage is terrific, with shelving containing all the amenities neatly labeled. Washer and dryer are very convenient. The gravel driveway is well-maintained (better than some of the Muncie streets!). Beautiful, enormous burr oak is in the front yard. The front porch is a perfect place to relax and drink a cup of morning coffee (well, at least as long as it's not winter).

Perfect for 1 or 2

Stayed at the Petite Retreat for a triathlon at Prarie Creek Reservoir. The space was cozy and quiet, and had everything I needed, which allowed me to focus on my race preparation. It’s about 20 minutes from the reservoir, and close to several restaurants and any last-minute shopping you might need if you’re in town for a race as well. Perfect for one or two people staying a weekend for a race or an event at BSU.

My favorite part about this little spot is the short walk to the river. I have spend endless hours near the water enjoying fishing and Eagle watching. Cant wait to have you come stay.
