We loved staying at Jenny's place! The house was clean and the rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of dishes and cutlery. It was great for the 4 of us. If there were larger parties, more seats in the living room would be needed (Couch and two chairs only). The view was fantastic, and we loved watching the ferry go by. For those staying here, be aware that the room on the main floor hears the most noise due to the open panels in one wall. I didn't mind it, but a light sleeper might find it hard. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. Easy access from the ferry and we all loved our visit. Jenny was always quick to respond and gave some great suggestions about the area. Thanks Jenny for hosting us!

We had an amazing time. House is beautiful, very clean and well equipped. We had a very relaxing time enjoying the views from the outdoor deck. Will 100% come back again

Beautiful property with a stunning view. House has a ton of amenities to make your stay comfortable (kitchen supplies, towels, pillows, etc.). Jenny was very great to deal with and is a great host. Close to the ferry terminal which is a bonus. About a 5-10min walk to the Hopkins Landing Wharf and beach. We'd live to come back one day!

The best view on the Sunshine Coast

We are 2 senior couples who have travelled all over Europe, South America and the US staying in VRBO homes. I would rate this home in the top 5. We stayed 9 nights and never tired of the view. The home is lovely and comfortable and the hostess accessible and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area!

Peaceful Getaway

Great house in a convenient location very close to the Langdale ferry terminal. Nestled among many trees but still with a great view of the water. Minutes from the town of Gibsons and about 30 minutes to Sechelt.Very quiet, peaceful setting and an excellent property. Communication with the owner is fast and detailed. Highly recommend this house.

Beautiful view of water

This property is very close to town and overlooks the water albeit set up on the hill. The neighborhood is peaceful and we saw eagles on arrival. All amenities and everything you would need are here. I would recommend to house to add chairs on the lower balcony too!

Spectacular views

The home was immaculate and well designed. The small little villages around the island were fun to see and boat tours of the seals. The restaurants in town were all superior! Just a great island and home!

Even better than the pictures!

A six star rating if it existed. Will certainly stay again. Loved everything. Just wish there were binoculars to see the eagles. And tea. But those are small items. It was great!

Great stay!

The house was beautiful and the location was great! Close to the ferry, close to downtown Gibsons and close to the Sunshine Coast Highway to explore further north. The Host was very timely in communication and information. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back to this place again.

Short get away to Gibsons

The hosts were very helpful and responsive and made us feel welcome in their beautiful home. The view is spectacular and we spent many happy hours admiring it from the deck and every room while we relaxed and enjoyed our time together The house is spacious and everything we needed was provided which made our stay very easy going. It is clean and well organised Overall I can highly recommend this property and truly hope to visit again soon

Work Retreat

Beautiful view and new home. I would say that the space was beautiful but the tidiness and supplies were limited. I forgot to bring oil and there was no back up option, there was no caserole dish so I made due with a cookie tray. Although these details feel minor when paying good money per night I expect that there are some basic supplies, which they mostly had just a few details that would add value. There was random kitchen stuff (boxes of salt, another box of salt/ pepper shakers that were used/dirty, trays with no purpose, multiple compost bins) left on the counter made it feel unappealing or intentional for a VRBO renter. The house had many potted plants everywhere that also made it feel messy and overgrown. The main floor bathroom shower had shampoo spilled all over the floor. It's new construction so that made it feel clean but you could tell it wasn't professionally cleaned before we arrived.

Having an ocean view house is our dream. We are semi-retired couple. We were working and living in Vancouver. A couple of months ago, we loved this house at the first sight and decided to move to Gibsons. We love people, traveling and outdoor activities. Sunshine coast gives us all of it. We like this community and enjoy the beauty of this island.
