Charming home in the heart of Crested Butte town

This cozy and bright bungalow sleeps 10 and is located in the heart of Crested Butte's quaint town. Located two blocks from Elk Ave (main st), walking distance from the arts center, as well as one block from the free bus shuttle (stops around town and goes up to Crested Butte Mtn!), grocery story and hardware store - this dreamy haven is perfect for all of your adventures.

Crested Butte is a perfect year-round destination with ample cross country skiing, snowshoeing (The Nordic Center rents equipment!) and an Epic (pass - pun intended) ski/snowboarding mountain in the winter and dozens of hiking/mountain biking trails and easy-access fly fishing in the summer.

House Details:
- 4 bedrooms with a variety of bed options including: 1 King bed, 2 Queen beds, 4 Twin beds (2 trundles perfect for kids or adults!)
- The house features a charming pellet stove in the living room and has a gas grill perfect for outdoor BBQs in the summer!
- The house has a beautiful view of Crested Butte Mountain which you can enjoy from the backyard or cozied up in the master bed.
- Both the front and back yards are fenced in for your comfort.
- Both bathrooms have heated floors - great year-round! The upstairs bathroom has a whirlpool tub (there is no hot tub)
- There's a 65" Smart TV, Klipsch cinema sound system, free WiFi, a wide variety of books for all ages, and a work from home desk set up!
- There is in home laundry machines available for your use (located in the downstairs bathroom)
- We also provide free toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, and laundry soap.

House Rules:
- Unfortunately NO pets allowed! Bring one will an incur additional fees and charges (at the discretion of the owners).
- We ask that you please take out the trash after your stay, strip the sheets and ensure all windows are closed/ lights are off before checkout 🙏🏼
- Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. Late checkouts/early arrivals may result in losing your security deposit.

Wonderful Stay

We have rented houses in CB in the summer many times before but this was our best one yet. The location is excellent - just a short walk to town or the grocery store. The living space is well designed and very comfortable, lovely back yard, well equipped kitchen. We appreciated that there were some miscellaneous spices so we didn't have to start from ground zero. Laura is a wonderful host and very responsive to messages. We would like to come back next summer.

Great house in an amazing location. Just a couple blocks from all the shops and restaurants (and coffee shops) downtown. Quick easy drive to get to the mountain for our 3 and 4 year olds first time on the mountain. Property was super quick and helpful to respond to all questions. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent vacation

We stayed for 4 days and had an excellent experience. The house had more than enough space for our group of 4 and the house was well maintained. We spent most of the day and nights on the mountain and out in town, but a perfect house to come home to at the end of the long days!

Great location and house and responsive owners

This is our second time staying here. This location is fantastic - bus stops right out front and within walking distance to all down town and grocery too. Owners are responsive and house is well kept and supplied.

Perfect Crested Butte Homebase!

Can’t say enough good things about this spot! Everything was as advertised and it truly was the perfect house for our group of friends for a long ski weekend. House is well stocked with kitchen supplies which made the number of nights we cooked a breeze. Range of rooms from a spacious primary bedroom to multiple Queen bedrooms and a fun bunk room. You cannot beat how convenient this place is to both CB’s main street (Elk Ave) and the town shuttle stop that takes you up to Mt CB in minutes. We will 100% be back!

Functional and Convenient

Our family (4 adults and 3 teenagers) had a great stay. The location made everything in town walkable and the house was thoughtfully equipped for cooking family meals. We would definitely stay again.

Great spot in cb town!

The red house was an excellent spot for our family for Christmas. Walking to camp4, Nordic center, Clark’s, etc. Cozy but fit 7 adults and 2 small kids perfectly! Good kitchen, house was very clean but not overly fussy, hosts even had a Christmas tree setup already which was very thoughtful. Laura was a super kind host, went out of her way to get our trip extended a day. Good to be back in the Butte!

This downtown Crested Butte home is truly charming. The pictures on VRBO do represent this lovely home. We celebrated my son's wedding in CB. My adult children and myself enjoyed the nice size livingroom and bedrooms. thank you

CB family reunion

Family got together and enjoyed our time with friends that are residents of CB. Myself and my cousin were former CB resident and western State alumni. Always nice to revisit CB. Forever one of my favorite places to be. The hosts were so friendly and quick to respond. The house is in the perfect location and can walk all over town. The view from the yard is amazing. Conference at Center for the Arts

The location and home was absolutely ideal for our recent stay in Crested Butte! The proximity to the Center for the Arts and to town was perfect for this work retreat. The owners were very communicative as well.
