Enjoy our entire beautiful home in an idyllic, convenient location! Walk to everything Huron has to offer:  beaches, river, pier, restaurants, boat launch, shopping and nightlife. Consider our house an oasis to return to after your day at Cedar Point, CP Sports Force, Kalahari, Sandusky, or the Lake Erie Islands. 
Our home is located on a beautiful lot with ample parking for 4 cars. 
The house has been recently renovated and provides two large living rooms both complete with 50 inch TVs (with streaming capabilities) for your enjoyment. 
With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a queen size daybed our home can comfortably accommodate 8 people. 
The Kitchen features all brand new appliances and has a large dining table perfect for meals and family game nights. 
Our house will provide you the perfect balance between all the action of the activities of the Lake Erie Shores and Islands and the serenity of a small lakefront town. 
We are just a few minutes’ drive from many popular destinations!  Cedar Point (15 minutes), Faben's Park (2 blocks away!), CP Sports Force (10 minutes), Kalahari (8 minutes), Downtown Sandusky and the Jet Express to the Islands (18 minutes).

Jen was responsive and easy to deal with. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It was easy to navigate the area and get to our destinations/events within minutes. The biggest negative is the size of the bathrooms. They are small.

The house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. There is a small park four blocks down the street.The House is well furnished, clean, and pleasant. There is a small patio, and otherwise no backyard.It is close to the islands, cedar point and Several wildlife reserves. There are a bunch of restaurants within a 10 minute drive.All in all, a good place for families to spend some quality time together.

We arrived with our family of 3 teenage boys and she was on top of communication and had plenty of snacks and handy sundries in the house we arrived. The location was close to everything. Easy access to the beaches, marinas, restaurants, and of course for us—Cedar Point.

Quick Ohio Trip

We rented this house for a quick trip to visit family in the area. It was myself, my husband, and our 5 year old daughter. It was a great home base to visit Cedar Point and other places in Huron and Sandusky, while also close to Norwalk where our family is. We found the house comfortable and clean. We’d definitely consider renting it again next time we come to Ohio!

Amazing House

Our family of 8 had an amazing time staying at The Heart of Huron! 15 min from cedar point. Amazing little town with great food! Few beaches our favorite was the Nickle Plate Beach! House has everything you need.. Was clean and had so many accommodations. This home makes you feel like you’re at home! We absolutely loved it and will book it in the future!

Perfect stay

Our annual family trip to Cedar point Memorial weekend was an awesome trip. The Huron house was only 20 minutes away from Cedar point nice easy drive! Yje joudr was perfect in every way warm and cozy very welcoming equipped with everything you need. Fo you have that one person in your family that snores within 10 minutes a provider and rips the shingles off of the roof. Well look under the bathroom sink. There are air plugs. Awesome host. They were there to answer any questions that we need will definitely visit again.

Really felt like home

I enjoyed my stay here. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. The host messaged me periodically just to check in, which I appreciated. We had one night during our vacation that we had to stay in because of torrential thunderstorms. We had plenty of space to chill out and watch baseball, play board games, and relax.

We were there for a dance competition at Kalahari. This was the perfect location. Easily accessible from the main roads, 10-11 minute drive to Kalahari, and walking distance from Lake Erie. The location was pristine and the host was highly communicative with any requests and check ins. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Will likely be staying here again if we are ever back at Kalahari for a dance competition.

Great Spot in Huron

We stayed in Huron do some Walleye fishing. From this location we walked to everything we did while not fishing. Pier, lighthouse, food, ice cream, etc... all convenient. The house is well stocked and exceeded our expectations.

Family weekend

We had grandchildren in a baseball tournament and. A granddaughter performing at Cedar Point.This was an amazing home close to both as well as traveling to Kelly’s Island. The home is beautiful and the hosts were very welcoming in their set up and communication. We enjoyed several of their recommendations for local restaurants and activities for children. We would highly recommend this place!!

Great place to stay close to kalahari!

The house was perfect for what we needed. It was a short walk to an ice cream shop and park. Saturday we went to Kalahari and it was about a 10 minute drive. It was nice to be so close so we could take our girls back for a nap and to regroup. The house was super clean and the host was great to work with. We will be back!

Cedar point road trip

Everything we needed was available. The house was very clean and stocked with basics. We made a family road trip from Florida and Cedar Point was second stop. The house was relaxing and inviting. Everyone had their own comfortable bed and we were able to make breakfast each day before heading out. Will come back and spend more time to explore Huron and the lake!

Great spot!

Wonderful house just the right size for our group of 8, in a great location in Huron. We were able to walk down to the boat basin and stop by for some ice cream on the way back! Would definitely recommend.

We are a family passionate about Lake Erie living! Our primary residence is in the Pittsburgh suburbs. I (Jen) grew up in Cleveland and have always been a "lakegirl". I have passed on my love of the water and boating to my husband and two teenage daughters. We keep our boat docked in Huron as well as the house you will be staying in. We absolutely love Huron and the Lake Erie Shores and Islands. We make the drive between Pittsburgh and Huron almost every weekend!

We chose this house because of it's proximity to everything we love! We can walk to the pier, lakefront park, restaurants, shopping, and beaches. The house itself is a true gem, recently remodeled and spacious and comfortable. We knew the moment it listed that we had to have it!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Some unique benefits of the house are the two large living areas, the newly updated appliances, and the huge driveway! It is nice especially for families to have the kids be able to watch TV in one room while the adults enjoy themselves in the other. The new appliances are a treat that you don't often find in a vacation rental. The driveway is an added bonus especially for boaters and fishermen/women who need the space for their trailers.
