While our island may look different as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds from Hurricane Ian, we can assure you that all of our homes have been approved and inspected to meet your family's needs. Captains Bay South 302 is a fabulous way to spend your vacation! Beautifully decorated, this 3 Bedroom/2 Bath condo has a magnificent water view of the Preserve from nearly every room and some uniquely fabulous features that make Captains Bay South 302 your favorite spot to relax in sunny Florida and come back to year after year.

First you are greeted with a screened in porch just to the left of your front door. This porch overlooks the Captain's Bay Resort Pool and offers the perfect place to sit and relax, especially if you are wet and sandy from the pool or beach and need some time to dry off before going inside. Open the front door and you are treated to an open concept living area with a fabulous water view of the Preserve and Bird Sanctuary and the canal that lines the area. With tile throughout, this condo was recently decorated with Florida flair with beautiful brand new furniture to suit the island lifestyle. There's a dining area with a table for four and a lovely picture window. The bright, white, fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and plenty of counter space. The laundry room is just off the kitchen and boasts a full washer and dryer. The spacious living room has comfortable seating, a huge, wall mounted flat screen TV with cable, and leads to the best feature in the condo - a screened in lanai with floor to ceiling viewing of the preserve. When it's cool out, you can open the living room sliding glass doors and treat the whole unit to fresh air. The lanai is your gateway to the preserve, where you can watch the rare birds of the island - egrets, herons, roseate spoonbills - nesting and feeding.

The large master bedroom sports a king sized bed, a beautiful picture window with a view of the preserve, and its own TV (for WiFi viewing only, no cable connection), while the master bedroom walk in closet is enormous. The en suite master bath features dual vanities, and a separate room for the toilet and walk in shower. The 1st Guest Bedroom is also rather large with two twin beds. This bedroom also has a view of the preserve, and has its own private lanai access. A lovely Guest Bath sits right next door. The 2nd Guest Bedroom features a Queen sized Bed. Plenty of room for the whole family to make Captains Bay South 302 their vacation headquarters in Florida year after year to make cherished happy memories of your time together. Crib & Toddler bed provided in condo. Beach chairs are provided in condo.

This unit offers free WiFi, ample parking and a building elevator. There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.

Captain's Bay is a wonderful and welcoming community located in the quiet south end of Fort Myers Beach, just across the street from our world famous beach, and features resort amenities - heated pool and sundeck with lounge chairs, picnic area, BBQ grill. Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer, including our world famous sunsets.

Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Scheduled to re-open January 2025, Santini Marina Plaza, just across the street, will offer you restaurants, bars, shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bite Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay, and is just a 2-mile drive away.

We would like to note that there is still construction occurring on the island as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds newer and stronger after Hurricane Ian. We have been hard at work to make the island beautiful again. Despite our recovery mode, we are ready to welcome visitors back and certain you will enjoy our beautifully restored, white sandy beaches and turquoise blue Gulf waters. Your vacation home has been renovated and inspected prior to your arrival.
