House was very comfortable with enough space for 6 adults. Entire house was very clean and cozy. Three separate kitchens and living spaces made the home perfect for our group get away. Will absolutely be back.

The house was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Amanda & Bill are excellent hosts! Even the livestock on the farm are great. We had a wonderful time visiting Claiborne Farm, Keeneland, Churchill Downs Derby Museum, Red River Gorge, a distillery, some very nice restaurants & shops in and around Winchester & Lexington.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. The history of it was very interesting. The house were wonderful, very accommodating and extremely friendly. It had plenty of room for our group of nine with the basement which turned out to be where the boys all slept. I would highly recommend this house to someone that is going to be into the area

Our stay was very nice! Amanda is a good host. The house sits a little closer to the road and farm than we anticipated. But overall we had a nice stay and the house worked out very good for the 8 of us.

What a lovely property! We only got to stay one night, but would have enjoyed a longer stay. The house is super roomy, with lots of comfy places to sleep. We enjoyed the game room immensely as we were winding down from a long day on the road. Easy access to food and shopping.

A beautiful spot and very friendly folks!

We had a group of 8 staying at Franklin Ridge. There was plenty of room, the house was immaculate and very homey and Amanda went out of her way to make sure things were just right.

A Warm Hug Kinda Home

My family and I spent the night here to celebrate New Year. It has a family vibe in the upstairs, filled with antiques and collections related to life in the area. The downstairs is open and modern, a great play place for the kids. The host has filled the home with lots of goodies to make your stay comfortable.

City folk in the country

We’re a group of city friends who came to Lexington for a taste of the country, and this stay was amazing! The home was spotless, and the host made us feel incredibly welcome with two dozen fresh-baked cookies and a dozen farm-fresh eggs. They were attentive to our needs, and the check-out process was super easy. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing country experience with great hospitality!

Wedding

We had 11 family members some who stayed for one night and others several. Bill and Amanda were great and accommodated all our needs, even the change in linens each time. We felt right at home and even made ourselves breakfast with some farm fresh eggs, a gift from our hosts. Having a husband that grew up in the country, the farm brought back happy memories.

Perfect

My friends and I were returning to our hometown after a long absence for our high school reunion. We wanted to have a comfortable place where could gather and talk. This was perfect for our needs and it was extremely clean. The house is a mini museum of local history and the family. Detailed instructions and labels throughout the house made our stay easy and comfortable.

KY Dove hunting trip

Amanda and Bill were wonderful. They helped us with all are needs during our stay and we enjoyed the farm and the house. The farm fresh eggs were delicious. We will be back! Great place to stay and centrally located to all our needs

Perfect overnight stay

Large farmhouse with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Kids loved the fresh baked cookies and the game room. Very peaceful and quiet location. The host are very kind and they took time out of their busy day to make sure we felt welcome.

Our stay was wonderful!! Perfect host, comfy beds and space to relax after a college visit and a day of shopping!!!! The house was super clean and exactly as described! Holiday family gathering

This house and the hosts are cut from a different cloth than most. Absolutely everything was thought out and perfectly done. So cozy, warm, clean and welcoming! Big well appointed kitchen was a dream to prepare meals in for our group. So many areas to spreadout in and enjoy time together. The whole place was lovingly, still decorated for Christmas with lights and even a tree! There was always a quick response to the few questions we had from Amanda. The icing on the cake was the personal farm tour for our littles and them getting to see the new baby calf.."Rory"! Thank you again! We will be back! We highly recommend this home for any group or gathering! You will not be disappointed.
