Welcome to VILLA SANA VIDA  (The House of Healthy Living).  Be engulfed in the luxury of our new Balinese home overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the tropical jungle. Excellent location with easy access  -- 10 minutes to Uvita and some of the best restaurants in Costa Rica. Enjoy the abundant wildlife that visit the property daily. 

Walk or drive (2minutes) to your private gated entrance to the Ballena National Marine Park Beach. Experience the beauty of this wide 3 mile beach. Peaceful walks, boogie boarding, basking in the sun and spectacular sunsets await you. 

The infinity edge pool overlooks the ocean with incredible sunset views. Large covered outdoor living and dining space with the gourmet kitchen opening up to this outdoor area where you can listen to the sounds of the ocean from your deck. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms in the main home it comfortably sleeps six. The spacious king size master bedroom with a stunning stone vanity and an indoor-outdoor shower allowing you to enjoy the sounds of the jungle. The second bedroom has a queen bed with private views of the ocean and a bathroom. The third bedroom has two single beds That can be converted to a king. The 4th Bedroom Suite is attached by the exterior deck and is a 2 story apartment style villa. It boasts its own Master suite with walk out shower and stone tub on the lower level. The upper level has a private kitchen and living/dining area with an abundance of covered decking overlooking the ocean and amazing sunsets. All bedrooms have air conditioning to cool you off on those hot days. 

We offer full concierge service to assist you with tours, activities, car rentals, airport transport, restaurant reservations and any other information about the area. We can even arrange grocery shopping, a private chef or catering of your choice. Amenities include telephone, 2 Smart TVs, WiFi, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, 2 washers/dryers, gas outdoor BBQ, all linens and bathroom, beach and pool towels.  For your private beach enjoyment we provide boogie boards, beach chairs and a cooler.

WE ARE HERE TO PROVIDE YOU A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUR VACATION AND ALSO TO TAKE CARE THAT YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME.

Great

This is a beautiful house with close access to the beach. The best part of staying here was the option to hire chef Kevin as a private chef. He brought his expertise working in Michelin star restaurants to our dinners and really blew us away. It was cool and tasty experience and he was a very kind, warm hearted person.

Luxury in Uvita

Stayed for 3 nights when we first got to Costa Rica … and what a start to our holiday it was. Fantastic, luxurious house, brilliant location to explore or just relax at the pool. Easy to get around even without a car. Cynthia was super and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Thanks again for having us !

Beautiful, well equipped vacation escape

This beautifully designed, very well equipped home has more than enough room to spread out (4 bdr, 3.5 bath) but we spent most of our time enjoying the outdoor dining & seating areas as well as the beautiful private pool, enjoying the many resident birds and fabulous sunsets. An awesome base from which to explore & enjoy Uvita & its many natural attractions. Dont forget to book at least one dinner with the private chef.

Wonderful home near Uvita

We had an amazing time staying at this home! We gathered for a girls trip and 50th bday party. The home has everything you need!! Well stocked kitchen, beautiful views, private swimming pool, gated entry, amazing seating areas outside on the beautiful patio! Wildlife and landscaping were beautiful! Cynthia and Karol were super responsive and extremely helpful with every question we had. Only about 10 mins to Uvita where the restaurants are amazing and grocery stores are all stocked! Wonderful vacation experience!!!

Amazing home ideally located for a family vacation in Costa Rica!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Villa Sana Vida with our three teen children. The home is beautiful and ideally located just south of Uvita. We chose this location so that our family could enjoy both jungle and beach activities without having to change accommodations. Cynthia, the property manager, and Karol, the concierge, were great to work with. They organized all of our excursions, dinners, car rentals, airport transfers, etc. and we'll definitely rent this home again when we return. Pura vida!

Fabulous. Don't wait, book now

This property is simply breath taking. Aside from that, the concierge service offered, the private beach access, and the owners knowledge and connection of the area make this house a no brainier. This house has everything you want, boogie boards, water shoes, beach chairs, beach towels, two washers and dryers, bi-daily house keeping, rental car delivery, private chef option (fabulous), air conditioning in the room, and much more. We used chef Juan Pablo many nights and highly recommend him. Additionally, the owner offered many local restaurant options that did not disappoint. We chatted a private boat to snorkel and fish (fabulous). We loved horse back riding to the falls. The coffee tour was nice, but extremely long. We didn't feel it was worth the time for the amount of information shared. However, it was informative. Highly recommend getting a driver from San Jose upon arrival and having cars delivered (seamless process). Please consider your time of arrival and departure carefully. It is a four hour drive from the airport to the home. We felt incredibly safe in this home and area. We are not ready to go and are already planning our return with children!! This place has set the bar so high!!! Thank you!!

Best Ever

We have stayed in other properties that Cynthia manages. Our Villa was spectacular as always. The extra perks of having our own private beach was a plus. Close to all the fantastic restaurants in the area.

Amazing beautiful villa!

The Villa was beautiful. It was a perfect location to enjoy the southern pacific coast of Costa Rica. Our hosts were friendly, and informative. They responded quickly to our questions and made excellent recommendations and accommodations for our multiple excursions. It was wonderful having them help us with planning and setting up the excursions. We especially enjoyed having the excellent chef Chino prepare several of our meals in the Villa. We stayed two weeks and we’re glad to have that amount of time in this location. Highly recommended.

Wonderful home for family!

We loved the home and; concierge and private beach were just amazing for traveling with family. The main home has three bedrooms which we used for kids and grandparents and the connected apartment style room was great to have as well. The home was great as you gather from the pictures but having Karol, the concierge, as well as the private beach were the highlights and removed much of the anxiety. The private beach access was incredible with maybe a couple other families on the entire beach with has a fresh water stream running into the ocean. The stream Is perfect for little kids and the ocean was perfect for older kids. Although we explored a few of the other public beaches; we kept returning to the private beach access! We love love to return to this home and area one day.
