Family Ski Weekend

Amazing property! This cabin is beautifully furnished to feel like a wonderful hunting lodge. We enjoyed the spacious game room & the vintage video arcade game! The spa on the deck was perfect following a day on the slopes. Our family cannot wait to plan our next trip to this cabin.

What a cabin should be

A little chilly in the house, but nothing that wasn’t managed with a blanket or sweater. It was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely go back.

Perfect Getaway, Again.

This was our second time staying here and it didn't disappoint. My kids loved going back to experience all of the things we enjoyed the first time; game room, hot tub, s'mores, horseshoes, and beautiful views. It was relaxing, entertaining, had all the amenities you would ever need and then some! The whole.process from start to finish was easy.. We would definitely return, again!

Great Place to stay

We enjoyed our stay very much! Everything felt clean, and it is well stocked. The place is bigger then it looks but still very cozy. All the wood we needed was provided for us. The game room was a highlight for all of us. We scored fresh snow with sledding right in the back yard.

The Perfect Christmas Getaway

This home is amazing, everything is exactly as pictured but better, wonderful neighborhood, so quiet and easy to get to. Feels like home, so comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. Plenty of blankets and pillows. I would recommend this home for a wonderful stay, it won’t disappoint.

Very nice, cozy and clean house. Good stay for family with kids. Have all necessary equipment. The only thing is that you can’t manage the heating. We had a nice stay.

Beautiful setting

This property was perfect for our family of 8. Ten and eleven year old boys loved exploring the outdoor acreage. The game room was a hit as well as adults and kids enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen has all the appliances and gadgets needed to put together a meal as well as a well appointed pantry. Shaver Lake offered lots is activities for a great vacation.

Sweet Mountain Getaway

My husband and two adult children stayed at this property and we all had a wonderful time! The property is peaceful allowing each of us our own space yet cozy enough to spend time together. Most of our time was spent in the game room where we had a great time reconnecting. This is a beautiful home we only wish we would have been able to stay longer. Loved it!!

Relaxing and Fun

We had a nice, relaxing, and fun weekend. I don’t know who had more fun in the game room the adults or the kids. David was very helpful and thoughtful host. The cabin is an easy and beautiful drive to China peak to have a day of winter sports. Thank you for hosting us!

New Years Retreat

Beautiful home exactly as pictured. Very clean inside and comfortable. Loved the game room where our two teenagers enjoyed pool, arcade games and foosball. There was lots of snow on the ground so we did not get much of a chance to go exploring. However, we all had a wonderful time at the house ringing in the new year. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely and homey place in the mountains

Nice home located in the mountains below shaver lake. Clean and comfortable with recent improvements. Fully equipped kitchen with an eclectic array of kitchen accoutrements. Lovely surroundings, spared from the recent wildfires in the area. Plenty of security, the owner keeps a close eye and ear on their home to make sure you are safe during your stay. Very direct communication from David the owner. Lovely wood stove with plenty of firewood to heat the home during your stay. If you are visiting in winter, remember to bring your cozy PJs and a warm partner, you'll need them both to stay warm at night and in the early morning, until you get the woodstove fired back up again. The game room is an awesome gathering place for tweens to adults with classic arcade and table games, as well as a large screen TV. If you are traveling up in the winter, remember your snow chains and snow shovels. Sledding is a short drive up the hill at one of the three close snoparks, or just off the road, in a couple of spots. After the game room, the bed sheets got the next highest review from our family.

Winter Wonderland
