This large 3-story river house boasts the most relaxing experience on the TickFaw River. The tastefully decorated home is located in Springfield, La, and within boating distance to river entertainment/bars. One of the best features of this house is the Boat House, with a large bar/entertaining space over the water. Sip your morning coffee or afternoon drinks on the screened-in porch watching the sunrise & sunset. This is a spacious 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home with a view. The kitchen, offering modern appliances, is just off the living room and has everything you need to cook the fish you catch off our riverfront or simply make your morning coffee. There is also an outside grill located on the first floor.

There are many things to do while you stay at this property. For your convenience, a boat launch is within easy reach (Riverside Marina).

Just a quick 45 minutes from LSU Tiger Stadium or 50 minutes from the Big Easy-New Orleans. Whether you're in town for crawfish season, Cajun cuisine, or Mardi Gras, this stay is sure to please!

My family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is very spacious and comfortable. They fished and caught little perch and a catfish. They also were visited by a few turtles and baby alligators. They enjoyed watching them and taking pictures of them.

Family Fun

The property and neighborhood is so beautiful! The home was perfect. We had 8 adults staying and there was plenty of space and bathrooms! The home smelled so clean and it was very clean! The fishing was amazing! And there was plenty of things to do and eat there! I would recommend this house to anyone! And we will be back again!

Springfield Waterfront Property

Overall it was a good stay. Weather was not good most of the week which identified multiple roof leaks in the master bedroom. Overall condition of property was good for a camp. Property a bit over priced for a camp with old towels, aging supplies, ceiling and floor damage due to water intrusion. Also had a broken master bath hot water handle rendering spa tub unuseable.

Spacious Comfortable and Friendly

Krista and Eddie were extremely friendly and accommodating. I had a 60th birthday weekend for myself and a group of friends. We absolutely loved every minute of it. We would definitely stay again!

Best place to experience Louisiana

Rented this beautiful property to experience Louisiana, and it was one of the best experiences for my family! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! It was stocked with everything you’d need to cook and BBQ. Being on the water made it a great experience for relaxing and fishing for my sons. Everything wasn’t much of a drive, New Orleans was about an hour and twenty minutes away, my family reunion was in LaPlace and that was a little over half an hour. Which was perfect drives to take in the lush forests and bayous of Louisiana! Would most definitely recommend this location!

Needs work

Front door knob gave us problems all weekend. Huge water stain on the ceiling in living room and paint peeling on the wall. Hole in the window sill that allowed bugs to swarm in at night. Rotten door frames up stairs and down. Outdoor furniture chairs so dirty we put towels over them to sit down. Decorative plastic fence used as upstairs railings that were very flimsy and are not strong enough to keep some one from falling. Thin uncomfortable mattresses on the bunk beds. Home could be nice with some work. Location is perfect.

Perfect

Perfect location to where we wanted to go. The boys (13 & 15) love to fish and they fished as much as possible. They said this was one of the top vacation places for them.

Beautiful view. Great roomy place.

Everything was as described and we greatly enjoyed our visit. Boat lift was definitely utilized. We enjoyed going out to eat on the boat and coffee on the screened balcony. Bunk beds were a little shaky but other than that everything was wonderful. Will visit again.
