Maison au Calme

Our vacation home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Located on the edge of the forest on a large, fenced-in lot with trees, it offers a peaceful and private setting for a vacation with family or friends. The single-story house features a master suite with a large, comfortable 180/200 bed, a private bathroom, and a separate toilet. The children’s wing consists of three bedrooms with one double bed (160/200) and two single beds (140/90), as well as a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The central living area is spacious and bright, with a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the living room and dining room. You can also enjoy the large terrace with a heated pool and a motorized cover for added safety.

In terms of amenities, the house features a barbecue, a ping-pong table, a badminton net and rackets, as well as pétanque balls for fun evenings with family or friends. There are also two cats that live outdoors.

Our house is located close to all shops and just 3 km from the train station and shopping centers. There’s no shortage of local activities and attractions, with the port of Biganos just 5 minutes away, where you can go canoeing and explore the Teich Bird Sanctuary. The oyster huts at the ports of Gujan Mestras are just a 10-minute drive away, while amusement parks such as Aqualand, La Coccinelle, Kid Park, the casino, the bowling alley, the zoo, the racetrack, and the golf course are all within 15 minutes. The Atlantic beaches, the Dune du Pyla, and the lakes of Cazaux, Biscarrosse, and Sanguinet are just 25 minutes away, while the city of Bordeaux and its vineyards and châteaux are 35 minutes away. You can also visit the charming town of Saint-Émilion in an hour.

Throughout the summer, there are numerous cultural and sporting events in the region, offering something for everyone. Our vacation home is available for rent in 7-day periods, from Sunday to Sunday, for a relaxing and unforgettable stay. We would like to clarify that loud parties and events are not permitted in the house, in order to maintain peace and quiet and out of respect for the neighbors.

We want your stay in our home to be as comfortable as possible. For this reason, you have access to everything that is not locked away. You’re welcome to use all the amenities in the house, including the fully equipped kitchen, appliances, board games, TV, barbecue, pool, and much more. We simply ask that you take care of everything you use and leave the house in the same condition you found it. The house is rented on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday.
