Welcome to the "Laurel Escape" cabin - your perfect mountain vacation home located in Blue Ridge, GA! The cabin is nestled in the private Laurel Ridge Community surrounded by rushing creek waters, hiking trails, dense national forest, the sounds of wildlife, and the golden hues of sunrises & sunsets. The house sleeps 6 people, with 3 separate bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms & is pet-friendly. It is beautifully decorated in a rustic, mountain theme with upscale, high quality furnishings.

"Laurel Escape" is a single-level fully furnished home with 3 queen bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. All rooms are located on the same, single level-- including a fully-equipped kitchen, pantry closet, laundry room, living room with electric fireplace & 50'' Smart TV, 6 person dining room table, 3 bedrooms (master bedroom has walk-in closet & access to back porch), 2 bathrooms (master bathroom is en suite), a gated wrap around porch with a screened in area, 4 person outdoor dining table, gas grill & a gas fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs for relaxing.

This little gem is a perfect getaway for all seasons of the year. You'll be able to enjoy the sun & the sound of rustling animals in the spring/summer, changing leaves in the autumn, and cozy fires with a chance of snow in the winter.

There are plenty of things to do in the community and in the surrounding areas. The cabin is located within walking distance to Laurel Creek and the Benton MacKaye hiking trail (which feeds into the Appalachian Trail), a 10-15 minute drive to historic downtown Blue Ridge & Lake Blue Ridge, and a 20-30 minute drive to the Toccoa River & the Aska Adventure area. Other attractions & activities include an abundance of lake/river activities, hikes, waterfall excursions, seasonal farms (farm animals, gardens, pumpkin patches & Christmas tree farms), winery & brewery tours, shopping and delicious local restaurants. The opportunity for adventures and treating yourself is simply endless!

"Laurel Escape" is a straight shot from the Atlanta airport (1h45min) and the surrounding metro-Atlanta areas (1h15min). It conveniently situated right off of Hwy 515 (turn at the Cherry Log Church), with clearly marked and safe roads leading to the cabin.

The Laurel Ridge Community is a private residential and rental community filled with traditional & luxury mountain cabins. The cabin is situated within ear-shot of Laurel Creek and within walking distance to the Benton MacKaye hiking trail entrance point (access to Appalachian Trail). This is a peaceful, safe, secluded community with pleasant nature, wildlife and neighbors.

*Pet-friendly: our pet fee is $50 per night, per pet. This can be paid directly to us after your reservation is complete. We require that all guests register their pet(s) with us during the VRBO booking process & through VRBO messaging after your booking is complete. We will need more information on your pet(s) such as their names, breeds, ages, weights, vet records and number of pets (limited to 2). We also kindly ask that pets are kept off the furniture, droppings are picked up from the yard, no excess exterior barking & they are kept on a leash when leaving the cabin.

- Keyless entry with Smart Code lock.
- Handicap Accessible Information: This is a single-level cabin with a flat driveway. It is easily accessible for any type of guest(s) aiming to avoid stairs & steep driveways. All bedrooms and bathrooms are on the same level and on the main floor.
- All tap water is clean drinking water. There is also a filtered water dispenser on the refrigerator.
- The property is accessible with any type of vehicle (including cars). Traveling via SUV, truck or 4x4 vehicle is not required.
- High-speed WIFI is available in the entire house. Remote work is possible.
- A digital version of the guest manual will be provided to guests after their booking is confirmed. A hard copy will be available at the cabin.
- Our management team prides itself on extremely high cleaning standards, customer service, instructions, information, and communication with both potential & confirmed guests.

Strict House Rules & Fines:
- There will be a $250 fine for any additional unauthorized pets. 
- No smoking in or on the property. There will be a $150 fine for breaking this rule.
- Minimum age requirement to rent: 25 yrs. There will be a $500 fine for breaching this rule due to liability reasons.
- Discharge of firm arms, uncontained fires, use of fireworks & all other activities which create a threat to the health, safety, or welfare of other residents.
- No recreational use on indoor or outdoor fire place/fire pit.
- No large parties & commercial events.
- Quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Maximum occupancy rate: 6 people
- Maximum on-site vehicle capacity: 4 vehicles
- Guests are subject to covering the costs of any broken, damaged or stolen items.
- Check In: 3:00 PM, Check Out: 11:00 AM.

Understanding the Extra Fees & Charges:
- Nightly Rates: the hosts adjust & set the nightly rates.
- Cleaning Fee: Guests are only charged a portion of the full cleaning cost.
- Pet Fee (if applicable): this non-refundable cost covers the additional cleaning cost & wear/tear of accommodating pets.
- Service Fee: VRBO charges the guests 6-15% as a usage fee for their platform. This cost is beyond our control. (Hosts also have to pay our own service fees to VRBO).
