This family home has a unique location and an exceptional environment.<br>Built on an old vineyard located on one of the two plateaus (Causse) overlooking Bédarieux, it is surrounded by dry stone walls, which makes it an ideal environment for children who can play in the garden in complete safety, as the land is fully enclosed.<br>From the terraces, the view of the Orb valley is magnificent.<br>Quiet and peaceful, it is an ideal place for the rest of 6 to 8 people. We are modernizing the house gradually. The kitchen has just been renovated and is complete (dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer part and all the necessary dishes) plus 2 coffee makers.<br>You will live well there, like in a family home, in which generations of children have played for long hours.<br>The main terrace will welcome you for all meals, and what a pleasure to have an aperitif with the splendid sunset (an additional garden tables and chairs are available).<br>As for the terraces of the rooms, they will open their arms to you for long quiet naps. Road access is possible for all cars (and even small vans) by remaining cautious on the last few meters, given the small width available between the two dry stone walls.<br>Once through the gate, the garden is huge (3,300 m2) and you can park your vehicles there without any problem.<br>Finally, we would like to draw your attention to the caution to be taken when it comes to fires. We are in Languedoc-Roussillon and in summer, the local vegetation is very dry.<br>For this reason, there is no barbecue, but we provide an electric grill.<br>You can smoke on the terraces (but not in the house), beware of cigarette butts, so be careful with fire, as in all Mediterranean countries!<br>The house is fully air-conditioned.<br>You are 15 minutes from Lamalou-les-Bains, with its thermal waters and casino. <br><br>The small streets that lead to the Villa are narrow, climbing steeply and winding around an old viaduct.<br>Take your time to get up, and you can park several vehicles on the very large lot.<br><br>Once you arrive, many leisure activities are within your reach (from 10 minutes to 1 hour):<br>The market of the old town in Bédarieux<br>The magnificent gorges of Eric and Colombière,<br>Decent from the Orb in a canoe.<br>Cirque de Navacel.<br>The leisure centre of La Prade in Lunas.<br>The Salagou lake and its nautical bases.<br>The excellent vineyard of Faugère<br>Lodève, its old town and its museum of modern art,<br>Sète, its canals, its marine cemetery, its ancient theatre and the shadow of Georges Brassens on the slopes of Mont Saint Clair.<br>The list of local activities is not exhaustive. <br><br>And for swimming, in addition to the Salagou lake, there are the beaches of the Mediterranean, 40 minutes away, or the local swimming pools with water games and giant slide a few minutes away.<br>If you like canoeing or kayaking, push on to Tarassac and you can take magnificent walks on the Orb. <br><br>Finally, as you are in the Haut Languedoc natural park, in the foothills of the Cévennes, there are many walks and hiking trails in magnificent landscapes.
