Just steps to the ocean.

Come and enjoy a relaxing vacation at this delightful ocean view one-bedroom unit in Puamana. While Lahaina and the surrounding areas have undergone significant changes due to the fire, our unit remains untouched and continues to offer a peaceful retreat.

Unfortunately, the historic clubhouse and some amenities were lost to the fire. Despite this, Puamana still offers a truly unique island experience and the perfect place to unwind and relax. A complete renovation of the spectacular Ocean Pool was completed in October 2025, offering guests a one-of-a-kind setting right at the water’s edge with breathtaking views of the Pacific. The Dolphin Pool is also open and available for use.

This unit is decorated with tropical touches throughout and features a king-size bed, AC, and WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities to make great meals, and there is a gas BBQ on the lanai for grilling. The property has been professionally cleaned and thoroughly inspected since the fire, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay.

Whether you’re seeking adventure or simply looking to unwind in a quiet setting, this unit offers a perfect home base. Enjoy wonderful meals and your favorite beverages on the back lanai while taking in the serene surroundings and ocean views.

Please be mindful of the ongoing recovery efforts in Lahaina and the surrounding areas during your stay. Respect for the community and its rebuilding process is greatly appreciated. We encourage guests to stay informed of local travel advisories and offer their support by visiting areas that are open and contributing to the local economy during this time of healing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this unit for only 3 days and didn't want to leave. It was clean, well appointed and had everything we needed. The location is central in the community and we especially enjoyed the ocean pool. Coming back after a day of exploring and enjoying dinner on the lanai was a highlight! We hope to be back soon.

It smelled a tiny bit like cigarette smoke at first but we didn’t notice it again. It’s nice to have 1 bedroom options at Puamana as they are more affordable. We often stay in 80-4 and love the older quaint nod to Puamana before renovations. The atmosphere around Puamana is not a resort feel but feels like you live there. People are friendly and the surf is almost always good for longboarding!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: t's 7:30 am. You are on vacation, so you want to sleep in. However, your neighbors next door have kids and their alarm clock just went off, together with their kids. You hear everything from then on because the walls are paper thin. So, you get up, and go to an unimpressive beach or an utterly forgettable road to Hana. You come back and find out the place turned into an oven (and we were there in December). You turn on the tiny air-conditioner in the bedroom, but it doesn’t do the job, plus conveniently blows cold air straight into your head when you lie in the bed. So, you open all the doors and windows, and by 3 am the temperature drops to comfortable 75 degrees. You want to sleep in, but by now you know what happens at 7:30 :) As a bonus you get reminded over and over again that if you don't register immediately you will be fined $10,52. Clearly not a mind-blowing sum, but the reminders make you wonder if you are on vacation or at a camp. Oh, by the way, you have a car with you. Good luck finding a parking spot for it. Yet, thanks to cruising around looking for a parking spot you can do a lot of local sightseeing :)

Great location in Puamana.

We live on Maui and this is our favorite place for a staycation on the island. This unit was situated with easy access to Hot Sands and Pools (surf spots) and the swimming pools. Puamana is gorgeous and peaceful. Feels like you’re in old Hawaii. One suggestion for this unit is to upgrade the wall AC to a split system. The AC was very noisy. Otherwise it is a great unit and we loved the open floor plan!

Exactly as advertised

We had a great time staying in Lahaina and would recommend this unit to anyone who was planning a trip to Maui. Everything was exactly as listed and the one tiny issue we had with the wifi was taken care of super quick. All in all would definitely consider staying here again.

We love Puamana in general, and this unit was clean, updated and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The location is great, convenient to the clubhouse, pools and Lahaina. Even though there are other units close by, you get great privacy on the lanai. You can hear the ocean, which is only steps away. The only negative was the very loud, outdated air conditioner in the bedroom. Luckily we did not need it much but is is way to loud to sleep. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Wonderful, Safe, Beautiful, Community.

I loved this gated community, it was so much better than a resort. There was so much more than the pictures offered. We had more than what we needed! The gated community is right on the ocean, and you feel safe because security is always riding around on the golf carts not that they need to in this area any way. We will definitely stay here again! Hopefully next year!! The private lanai was great it was large we grilled on the grill almost every night and the burgers and steaks were perfect! Dave, the property manager was more than helpful with any questions that I may have had! Two thumbs up from my husband and I!! I do not want to leave!!

wonderful stay

a unique experience on maui: oceanfront development with many pools, tennis, beach access, nonstop mangoes and volley ball, right next to several surfing beaches (literally within 5 minutes of walking), an easy fast walk to Lahaina town (via streets or beach), with immaculately manicured lawns and very secure entry and exit. in short: the best beach weather on maui with no Tradewinds or other wind stuff, with one of their pools directly above the ocean with a full complete view of the sunset and also excellent surfers catching waves very close to you in full view, with friendly residents and also vacationing guests.i live on the island and never knew this particular community existed. it is truly a gem to visit or live .
