Escape to this beautiful and inviting A-Frame home nestled in the heart of the Poconos. Perfect for family and friends, this retreat features four bedrooms, two cozy living spaces and a fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs.

Enjoy mornings on the private deck complete with a grill for outdoor meals and a fire pit perfect for roasting marshmellows and stargazing at night. Whether you are sipping coffee by the large windows or gathering around the fire, this home offers space to relax, connect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Things to note:
- Linens will not be provided, but we would be happy to organize Pocono Linen Rental if you wish which delivers right to your door day of arrival for a charge of $55
- Bath towels will be available
-In order to use Big Bass Lake Community amenities, there is a $6 fee per person per day that you will pay at the administration office, clubhouse or recreation center. Children under 7 are free with a paying adult.
-Rental requires a completed application for Big Bass Lake detailing all guests for access through gated security.

Big Bass Lake

Great property! We took the weekend to just get away from the day to day. This place allowed for that perfectly. The property description was very accurate and host made the process of check-in and out very easy.

Family vacation

We had a great time staying at Kens Cabin. Everything was there besides sheets. Truly felt like we were staying at a family members house. It was warm and welcoming. Quick drive to the lake and outdoor pool.

Great place to stay!

Ken was a great host. He was responsive and accommodating. The house was very nice and clean when we arrived. The community is awesome! So much to do right in big bass lake and state parks just a short car ride away. We're hoping to visit again next year!

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this house and Big Bass Lake. The house is very functional. The two bathrooms are convenient and the downstairs helps so you do not feel like you are stepping over one another. The front yard was big enough to play cornhole and the deck and grill were nice, as we ate outside for every meal. The hosts were super responsive and went out of their way to tell us what events were going on and check in on us.

Great for a friends reunion

Perfect location for our small reunion of college friends. We needed a location central to our homes (southeast PA, upstate NY, central NJ) to get together and and catch up. Lovely quiet neighborhood, friendly, cosy. We spent so much time talking we didn't have time for any of the community amenities! Thanks for the lovely weekend!

New Years getaway

Our stay was overall good. Did have a sense that we were being "watched" which changed the atmosphere of the trip. We did not feel as comfortable. Other than that, the home was very beautiful and spacious.

Great house with all the fixings

This host really thought of everything. My family and I enjoyed this house immensely. Plenty of room and two huge tvs to keep everyone entertained when we were winding down from everything the community has to offer. When we first arrived, I thought I may need to go out to get some supplies but that turned out to be wholly unnecessary because this house had everywhere needed. We had a great time - thank you very much.

Great Getaway!

The house was as described, clean and stocked with everything we needed for a lovely long weekend. The owner was super responsive to my questions. There was plenty of wood for the fire pit and we used the gas grill to prepare dinner one night. The lake was gorgeous at sunset and just a short walk away to catch the view. A smart TV and WIFI functioned very well, although it was so nice to unplug for several days in the middle of nature. Thanks for sharing your home for a great getaway!

Pleasant hide away

Nice property! Definitely rustic but comfortable, plenty of room for the 4 of us. Lots of nice touches like bottle of wine, plenty of coffee, cookies. Everything we needed to cook breakfast. Appreciated the updated baths and beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Love the fire pit

We had a lovely four night stay in this house. The kitchen was well equipped, though mostly we just grilled. There were tons of games for people of all ages. The beds were great and the bathrooms new and clean. Our best times were around the fire pit behind the house. We spent many a night making s’mores and telling stories. A lovely family house in the poconos.

We had a wonderful time. The house was very well maintained and had everything that we needed. The owner was very responsive and sweet. We love the pool, ping pong tables, and little snack stand. Great weekend!

Beautiful location

This property is exactly as it is listed! We had such a great experience with all communication with the property owner, with them even responding in the middle of the night as questions popped in my head. Neighborhood is quiet, safe and absolutely beautiful! There is so much to do on the property and in the community. The owners provided a book full of information that was super helpful during our stay! And we were pleasantly surprised with welcome treats. Only comment is that the loft (king room) is right above the main living room. There is no sound barrier so if you need absolute silence when others may be waking up, sleeping in another room may be ideal. You do need to bring your own linens but they provide enough towels and blankets which was really nice to have! We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to the poconos

Great little house in secluded Big Bass Lake

We spent the weekend at the house to celebrate my son's birthday. We had 2 adults and 5 kids. Here is a breakdown of our review. Pros: Clean. New bathrooms were very clean and very nice. Kitchen was stocked with what you need to cook. Seriously nice cookware and cutlery. I never had to look for anything and think "I wish I brought it". It was all there. Communication with owner was impressive. We had an issue with wifi and the owner was very attentive to our issue. I can't say enough about the communication. If we had a question - it was answered in a very timely fashion. Comfy furniture in living room. Perfect location for kids (teens) to walk around with little traffic. Close to amenities for teens (Camelback and Kalahari) Cons: The only downside we had was the lower level (kids area) was drafty but it was an unusually cold weekend. Owner was willing to get us a heater but the boys were able to endure with sweatshirts, xbox and snacks. All in all it was a great location for a small family. Thank you so much for making our trip wonderful.
