Modern 2 Bedroom with Outdoor Space

Summary:
Bright 2 bed / 1 bath lower level apartment with modern design and comfortable rooms. The space was gut renovated and professionally designed in 2021. Two large bedrooms with queen beds and desks for those of us embracing work-from-home. Full kitchen and living space with 50' smart TV. Outside is a campfire pit with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. Smart locks with keypad for self check-in.

Dogs allowed when added to reservation, sorry no cats or other pets.

The Space:
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen/living space, and outdoor space with a campfire pit, picnic area, and BBQ.

Guest Access:
Enjoy the full lower apartment with private entrance.

The Neighborhood:
You'll find the neighborhood to be somewhere between suburban and rural. This is a family neighborhood with long time residents who enjoy using their outdoor space, we ask all outdoor noise be kept at acceptable level during the day and to a minimum after 10:00PM.

Getting Around:
The majority of guests will want a car but Uber/Lyft is usually available.

Other Things to Note:
This is a lower level apartment in a duplex, down one flight of stairs. This means you'll be sharing the driveway if guests are occupying the upstairs unit. We ask that you respect the neighbors and keep indoor and outdoor noise to a minimum after 10:00PM.

Interaction with Guests:
Messagining us through the site/app is the best way to keep in touch with us. If there are any issues, our property manager lives down the street.

The apartment is truly nice, with well thought-out details everywhere. The owners were great, and responded really quickly to all questions. As it's a basement unit, it's a little bit on the noisy side, but the outdoors separate area was truly great and we enjoyed it enormously!!!

Perfect for visiting Ithaca

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights as we were visiting family who happen to also live on the same road! From booking to checkout, everything was smooth and easy. This 2 BR apt. is just as the pictures show - immaculate, well-appointed, and comfortable. Check-in is a snap - no contact. Parking is ample and easy. The apartment, which is down a flight of stairs, is bright and airy; although it is a basement apt, there are ample windows and light. Beds are comfy. Towels are luxurious. The appliances and decor are very new and everything works perfectly. Each BR has its own air conditioner. The outdoor space features two distinct and private areas, each with its own fire pit, wood pile, picnic table, and chairs. We did not have good enough weather or we would have made s'mores from the smores kit that was left for us : ) I had several minor questions for Evan which he answered very quickly. He is a great communicator; everything was clear and there were no surprises. This is a great location for visiting Ithaca, especially if you are heading to Ithaca College, which is just down the road. We will definitely stay here again when we return to visit family.

Well done

My husband and I were attending orientation for our daughter at Cornell University and were lucky to be able to rent this apartment for the weekend. It was immaculate, convenient, quiet and all the thoughtful touches the hosts put into place for our stay were appreciated! We felt safe and cared for during our stay. There was a fire pit, a hammock, an outside picnic area and plenty of firewood. Everything in the home was near new and tastefully decorated. We were kept cool with the air conditioners and overall very comfortable. I have nothing but good things to say and should anyone chose to rent this home....you will not be sorry! I will hope to stay there every time I visit my daughter at school!

This was an adorable, off-grid venue that I would highly recommend to those who appreciate cooking.

This VRBO has every essential amenity possible. For those folks that appreciate a kitchen for all things cheffing mixed with the rural outdoors, it's absolutely perfect! From artwork and hammock, to fluffy pillows and adorable lighting, I hope to return to this hideaway again. Thank you for the sweet touch of the s'mores kit and comfortable linen. Often times these comforts of home are overlooked. If I had any marginal aha's (not complaints) was that the renderings shared of the venue almost made it appear that this was a contained split level vs. all living spaces on the basement floor. Additionally, though Ithaca's weather is fairly mild, the AC units are only located in the bedrooms making the kitchen a bit steamy during the height of day. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot to any person that appreciates an artsy getaway, that has a car, but wants to stay off-grid with an approximate 20 minute drive to downtown. Lastly, Evan and his fiance are clearly a match made in heaven. Evan was instantly available to answer any questions and based on his share and our experience, he is clearly matched with his kindred partner that has a keen eye for interior design. Combined, they know how to create tranquility and bliss! Thank you for making this getaway magical!

Wonderful getaway

A lovely, brand new unit. Listed as "downstairs" it is not a quite a basement but not quite ground level. Entry is down a flight of stairs. (There is another unit above, so you might hear footsteps.) Plenty of windows and very spacious bedrooms. Brand new everything. Evan and Stephanie were VERY helpful in assisting us in sorting out adding an extra night as well as with some other minor questions. Very clean, plenty of linens and the S'Mores kit was a big hit with us. Outside, a large yard bordered by woods, with fire pit, plenty of stacked wood, fire starters and chairs and a picnic table. A sweet apartment in a lovely setting.
