Welcome to La Douc'Heure, a charming wooden house with contemporary architecture, nestled in a lush green setting in Doucier, just a short walk from the beautiful Lake Chalain in the Jura! If you’re looking for a peaceful place to recharge in the heart of nature, while still enjoying easy access to local services and shops, our cottage is the perfect spot.

With a total area of 90 m², it sleeps up to 6 guests. On the first floor, you’ll find one bedroom with a double bed and a second with two single beds. Upstairs, a large loft features a sleeping area with a double bed, as well as a space dedicated to games and reading.The first floor also features a bright 30 m² open-concept space with a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto a cozy living room. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and a toilet.

To make the most of your stay, you can relax on a spacious, covered terrace equipped with a barbecue, a teak table, and lounge chairs. Our flower-filled garden also offers shaded spots where you can unwind.

The Jura region is brimming with activities and things to discover. You can go hiking in the magnificent surrounding landscapes (numerous lakes, the nearby Hérissons waterfalls, villages in the Jura vineyards, or the rolling hills of the Haut Jura), explore the bike trails, or enjoy water sports on the lakes of Chalain, Clairvaux, or Vouglans. Nature lovers will be delighted by the region’s diverse flora and fauna.

Check-in (starting at 4 p.m., self-check-in) and check-out (at 10 a.m.) are only available on Saturdays.
