This exquisite home was built in 1928 by the esteemed John Worrilow, founder of Lebanon Steel Co., as a peaceful getaway for himself and his family. Each room was artfully and intentionally designed by one of the architects for the Washington National Cathedral. From the elegant “Main Staircase” mirroring a favorite staircase at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to “The Worrilow Great Room,” a spacious living area modeled after the prestigious castle “Haddon Hall” of Derbyshire, England where “The Princess Bride” was filmed, complete with Italian carved molding and a marble fireplace....its not until you’ve meandered these historic spaces and explored the majestic grounds that you can truly soak in the history and charm of the Brasenhill Mansion.
The estate boasts 9 luxurious bedrooms (with TV's, bluetooth speakers & more!), 9 bathrooms, 4 Kitchens fully equipped, one with a Viking stove, a convection oven, 2 commercial-grade dishwashers (done in 90 seconds!), 2 dining rooms, a library with leather seating and TV, a massive Sun Porch, various alcoves and sitting areas, and a basement -level man cave with multiple TVs, pool table and more.

The remarkable "Grand Master Suite" spans the West wing of the 2nd floor of the mansion. It includes the Master Bedroom with King sized four-poster bed, fireplace, spacious sitting area with flatscreen TV, as well as his and hers custom walk-in dressers and an attached Solarium, or “Sleeping Porch” as it was first intended. The Master Bath includes elegant windows with stunning views of the grounds, soaking tub, separate shower, and twin vanities. You’ll feel like the king and queen of the castle as you enjoy a glass of wine and soak in all the charm and elegance Brasenhill has to offer.
Stepping into The Steel Room is like stepping into a roaring 20’s speak easy. Your friends can pull up a stool to the 100 year old bar for a drink, play a round of billiards or darts in the game room, or kick back around the fireplace in the luxurious leather couch or chairs to catch the game on one of the 2 flatscreen TVs. Located on the West portion of the basement level, this is a ‘cave’ any man would be envious of.
