The Cabin at Lapp's Lodging

This 3 story cabin is nestled in the heart of Hocking Hills. The property has all the amenities you could need for a great stay including, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and hot tub with large decks, patios, and fire pit. Though the cabin is very private it is also convenient to the best of Hocking Hills. We are 10-15 minutes to Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, and other outdoor hiking and activities.

Awesome getaway

Overall, had a great time at the Lapp’s cabin. It had plenty of space and was well stocked. Plenty of games for the kids to keep them busy in the evenings. Can’t wait to book again next year!

Perfect property

Four couples for our annual Halloween weekend stayed here...the cleanest place we've ever experienced! Cozy with all the amenities. Everything was great and the owner was easy to communicate with about everything. Thank you!

Perfect weekend!

Our friend group had so much fun staying here! Kitchen was well stocked for our homemade pizza night, bedrooms on every floor was super nice for privacy and space! Plenty of games to play and as long as you’re connected to the wifi the internet worked just fine. Beautiful and well maintained property, we will be back!

Hidden treasure

This property was beautiful and very well maintained. It was very clean. Offered just the right amount of space and privacy if needed. I loved that there was a bathroom on every floor. There were only 2 downfalls. The driveway was a real challenge, I drive a full size SUV and the ruts at the bottom need to be addressed, also the large hump on the first incline. The only other negative is the path to the firepit area. The gravel shifts when walking downhill and I had a minor fall. It could use some more lighting as the lighting shines up not on the path. I would recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Hocking Hills area. It had great seating options both inside and outside. The rockers on the upper deck were a favorite.

Love the porch and ares

House was extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Kitchen had all utensils and needed items. We used the porch day and night and loved the rocking chairs! The only complaint was that the basement bedroom had very little soundproofing. You could hear every movement even the people snoring in the room above you. Bathrooms very clean. Oh, could use more dish towels..there were only 2. Other than that, perfect getaway for adults!

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin! It was cozy and clean with plenty of space for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Space to come together as a family and areas for solitude if you choose. Especially liked the deck and outdoor seating as well as the hot tub!

Beautiful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything was very clean and was stocked with any supplies we could possibly need to get us started. We needed to contact the owner because we left some thing there by accident and he was extremely friendly, cooperative, and helpful.

Awesome place!!

The cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. They had tons of games. We asked for an early check in and he called as soon as he was done cleaning. He allowed us to order the fight and paid him with Venmo. He was so accomodating. We will stay again. We loved it. The view was amazing!!

Wonderful cabin and property

We stayed here recently and everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need to cook meals there, the hot tub was nice. The deck was great and we enjoyed eating out at the table or sitting with morning coffee or an adult beverage in the rockers. There were towels for both the bathrooms and hot tub use. Lots of little extras everywhere. It really was perfect and if we come back this way we would stay there again.

The Lapp family has a long history in Hocking Hill's. This year (2021) marks the 40th year our family has enjoyed all that the area has to offer. Lappland, just up the hill from The Cabin at Lapp's Lodging, has served a campsite, hunting cabin, part time residence, and family hub since it was purchased by our family in 1981.

As three generations of our family continue to enjoy our home away from home, we're so excited to share The Cabin with you!
