INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

5 stars if it weren't for the teenagers who run away after ringing the bell late at night. The facilities and interior were also very clean and luxurious. However, the sofa bed in the living room seemed to be in need of repair.

Would give 5 stars but housekeeping wasn’t great

The unit looks just like the pictures listed. Great location. You could truly walk to all places needed and desired. Great view of the beach, pool area and parts of Pier Park. The balcony was a favorite place to start and end each day. The unit is updated and well appointed. I’d give a better rating but housekeeping neglected to vacuum any floors and the top blankets weren’t cleaned. Also, when I checked out and called within 2 hours of leaving to ask if housekeeping could either ship or hold for pickup some expensive shoes I left in the master closet I was never given a response from housekeeping. The first person I spoke to said “IF” they find them they’ll let me know. Welp, shoes don’t move on their own. Next person I spoke to was fantastic and took my info to ship my items. I was told, however, they just needed housekeeping to tell them where to get the items from (lost and found). Of course that never happened and two more calls later I still don’t have my shoes (4 total conversations). All in all the unit and grounds were fantastic but housekeeping was just so, so.

Review

Overall great property. Only complaint would be the bunkbed room. Room was pretty small with a fan almost directly over the top bunk; and little to no air flow. But was an overall good condo.

Communication at check-in was virtually zero. Never got a parking pass and was harassed each and every time trying to get into the parking garage as well as getting out. The pool, although big and beautiful, still did not have a functional bar and we were unable to use the neighboring condo Bar. The place was beautiful, but was across the street from the beach which we realized, but lacked some things like pepper, letting us know what type of coffee maker in advance so we could come with the appropriate type of coffee,. The lack of a bar at the pool was really disappointing, because they also would not allow us to bring a cooler in to the pool

Incredible Place

I was pleasantly surprised by our condo, and our entire experience in Panama City Beach/30-A. Calypso is a beautiful resort with incredibly friendly staff. The condo was exactly how it was presented in the photos. There were zero surprises from start to finish of our vacation. They even offered to extend our trip since they had a rare vacancy at the end of our vacation. The pool was awesome, the beach was gorgeous, great seats, and the cafe/ice cream shop downstairs was great! We’ll be back.
