It's hard to choose between the multitude of activities on offer in the Bay of Arcachon!
Ideally located right in the heart of town, you can explore the charming Ville d'Hiver district, with its superb turn-of-the-century houses, park and belvedere offering a breathtaking view of the Bassin!
At midday, let yourself be tempted by an oyster tasting in one of the Bassin's oyster ports, such as La Teste or Gujan, or at the Arcachon market (bring a container if you'd like to have them opened, and don't go too late for this request), then set off to conquer the majestic Dune du Pyla.
If you feel like taking to the open sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty, a 7-minute walk from your home, to Cap Ferret, Ile aux oiseaux and the famous cabanes tchanquées!
Take a trip down the Leyre to the bird park at Le Teich, where you can choose to be accompanied by a guide, or go it alone with your kayak.
