Little River Guest House, elaborado a medida con una bañera de hidromasaje privada. Esta es una propiedad única situada en un valle virgen ganadería a lo largo del Tenedor sur del río Arkansas en 35 acres. Tranquilo y privado, que se encuentran cerca de MONARCA DE ESQUÍ DE MONTAÑA y el centro histórico SALIDA para las galerías de restaurantes, tiendas y centros de arte. (Ver enlace local de Salida para más información) ambos a sólo 10 minutos de la cabina.

El Crest Trail es un sendero de ciclismo de montaña de clase mundial en Monarch Pass. Oro pesca medalla en el Arkansas y rafting son famosos en esta área. Rutas de senderismo, paseos a caballo, o 4 de rueda están muy cerca. Visita nuestra bodega local en la misma calle. Hemos sido bendecidos con 4 aguas termales en los alrededores. Este lugar es espectacular en cualquier época del año!
Little River Guest House es maravilloso cabaña de luna de miel o unas vacaciones familiares escapada romántica.

Disfrute de una cocina completa con encimeras de granito, comedor sala de sol, dormitorio con cama King / más sofá-cama, altillo con 2 camas individuales. Chimenea de gas en la sala de estar, TV vía satélite y WIFI. Acogedor y completo con el sonido del río y hermosas vistas de los Picos colegiales. Estanque con playa, y pozo de fuego. Tipi y pozo de herradura.

La cabina es un refugio perfecto para aquellos que disfrutan de la verdadera Colorado! Abundantes aves y vida silvestre incluyen; alces, zorros, alces y ciervos. Disfrute viendo la naturaleza. Todo está aquí.

The cabin is set in a beautiful meadow and close to Salida. All good there. Unfortunately, the cabin has a water pump situated underneath it which emits a low, pulsating hum. The noise disturbed our sleep for 3 nights and the landlord response was late and the lack of our sleep was treated with no real concern. There was no shower soap. Delivered later in the day. We had to cut our vacation short by one day due to our exhaustion, and on check out we did as asked: take out the trash, strip the bed, start a load of laundry. No laundry soap. Sent a request for one night's stay, was promised a check in the mail. No check after two weeks.

Absolutely Beautiful

We had a great stay. The location is beautiful and the cabin is very well stocked with kitchen/cooking utensils and extra bedding/blankets. The hot tub worked well and was very clean. Also, the wifi works great. The property is centrally located and makes a great place to basecamp your Arkansas Headwaters adventures.

Lovely location but best for a couple

The location and property grounds were fantastic and the guest house charming, but the accommodation's description was misleading in regard to the bedroom locations (bedroom number two is not similar to bedroom number one but is in fact twin beds in the loft). Property is in need of maintenance and cleaning.

An adorable guest house away from town for a quiet stay. The host was responsive even though she was away during our stay. We had a little confusion about the WiFi login, but it was resolved quickly. The host also recommended Dvorak Expeditions for the rafting trip we wanted to schedule. We had a great time doing that, so thank you!

The perfect spot.

The guest house is comfortable and cozy. We love the eclectic vibe and beautiful setting! The well appointed kitchen made meal prep easy. And, we especially enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub and fire pit. We’d love to stay there again!

Just as wonderful as first visit

So close to Salida, but you feel miles away. The pond and river and surroundings are very peaceful. The house is very comfortable and the bookshelf has a wonderful mix of books. We also enjoyed the hot tub.

Beautiful Location

This is an adorable guest house on a ranch property. The house was comfortable and clean. While we didn't have an opportunity to take advantage of all the fun activies on the property because of our schedule, they all looked amazing. Also, very nice owners!

Love this place!

We have stayed here the last three summers and will continue to do so! We have 2 dogs who love the outdoor freedom and swimming in the pond. The cabin is adorable and very cozy. The fire pit gives the camping vibe but you can then jump in the hot tub and sleep in comfort. You do share the property with the owners and their home but they are great! I only mention so you know and make your decision accordingly. You have plenty of space and privacy. It’s a great space for small family.

Perfect Peace

The guest house is perfectly located and well maintained. You are within a few minutes of downtown Salida and all the wonderful hiking, biking, and river activities one could want. The guest house has a great view of the mountains and sits on a lovely landscape of trees, trout streams, pastures, and well kept grounds.

Beyond What We Expected!!!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The mountain views, amenities and property are better than displayed in the listing. The guest house is nestled in the trees with a stunning backdrop of the mountain peaks and feels very private. The guest house probably needs a few upgrades, such as the tub and shower and there is no dishwasher, but provides everything needed. We were able to walk the acreage, enjoy the private pond with paddle boards and zipline, and walk along property's riverside. The rooms were spacious and cozy. The dining nook was adorable. The owner provided nice robes, towels and blankets. We would definitely come back and stay longer next time now knowing how quaint, yet complete this location is!

Really great place

A Gem!

This place is a true gem with beautiful views and an idyllic setting. Our two dogs loved swimming in the pond and we spent many hours just sitting outside listening to the river (raging in June). The guest cabin is close to the main house but the owners did a great job of making it feel private with trees. It is on a working ranch so the neighboring cows walked by the property every morning and also hung out on the other side of the fence. Lots of calves this time of year. Our one dog could care less, our other was a bit too interested. The cabin itself has a king bed on the main floor and two twin beds in the loft. We found internet access to be fine and had 5G in certain areas. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the grill and hot tub are nice to have. It is 10 mins outside of downtown Salida. We loved our stay and will absolutely book again!

mountain valley fun

Perfectly sited cabin for jumping off for fabulous spring hikes. The cabin is quiet, private and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Chip fixed the water heater immediately when the pilot light decided to extinguish itself and it was great to chat with him. Would stay again for sure!

We live on this 35 acre ranch, and enjoy all the amenities this valley has to offer. We know you will enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, fishing and exploring this special valley.

Local recreation, skiing (15 mins. away), river rafting, fishing, mountain biking and hiking. This area is also rich in heritage sites, featuring historic downtown Salida (10 mins away). Right from the guest house, you can hike along the Little Arkansas or hike and mountain bike Willow and Greens Creek roads. The Mountain Spirit Winery on Cty. Rd. 220. 1 mile down the rd. is a great place to have a picnic under an apple tree.
