This private home also features spacious indoor living and dining areas, lovely hardwood floors, a king-sized bed and a furnished kitchen with mid-century modern detail. You'll have the house entirely to yourselves, so you can feel pleasantly secluded, while still in a quiet neighborhood only minutes from town and access to the lake. With wireless internet and a smart TV, you can be as connected (or disconnected!) as you like.

Great location and view

We absolutely loved Effie’s. It was very quaint and we loved the screened in porch. The view to the lake just made our morning coffee so much better. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay!

Perfect place to stay to do some bass fishing! We love the property owners! They helped us park the boat. Love sitting on the deck and relaxing!

Wonderful place

The view was great of the lake. The house was clean and comfortable. Great communication with Sandy. The half bath toilet needed a little cleaning, but it wasn’t too bad, we handled it. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Effie’s!

Perfect getaway

House was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Very close to boat ramp on Table Rock. Screened-in back porch had beautiful lake views.and the perfect place for morning coffee. Sandy was extremely friendly and helpful. We will stay again!

Sandi and Curt were wonderful guest. We had a bit of an internet problem and they were very understanding ( which we very much appreciated ). They were extremely respectful of EFFIES and left it in spotless condition We welcome them back anytime!!!

Weekend Late Summer Getaway

If you want the quintessential vintage TRL home feel with modern amenities, then you will love this home. Nice neighborhood, quiet and secluded feeling, awesome lakeview and feel, very clean, and pride of ownership shows. We just loved this place and Sandy, the owner, was so nice and accommodating for anything and everything. We'd definitely rent again! 5 stars all around for us!

Can’t beat the amazing view and accommodating hosts!

This is the ultimate couples stay. The large screened in porch has a beautiful view and is a great place to share coffee or wine. Although it is a one bedroom it is an entire house to yourself. You are greeted by the host herself and find she has left snacks, water, coffee and other items typically not found. She and her husband were more than accommodating! We will definitely be back!

I truly enjoy meeting new people and learning their stories. I grew up in south-central Kansas and moved here from western Kansas. I'm an enthusiast of antique furniture and vintage jewelry, and have a shop here in town where I feature my favorite finds. You're probably wondering about the name. Effie is what my uncle called my mom. My mother thought this was such a beautiful place to live, so to honor her, our family decided to name it Effie's.

The Crestwood West neighborhood is clean, quiet and close to everything--the grocery store, Dollar General, hardware store, salons, boat ramps, etc.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

When people walk into Effie's they often say they can immediately feel that it's special. It's designed to be a peaceful getaway for two. It's clean, has unique furnishings and a fabulous view of Table Rock Lake. The home provides privacy, for example if one of you wants to take a nap and the other wants to watch TV. And it has tinted windows in the front for privacy and empty lots on either side so you can see other homes but feel like you're in your own little world.
