Welcome to Owl Creek Hideaway - a hidden gem with breathtaking views of Belton Lake!

Our property sits on the cliff with a little over half an acre overlooking the lake. It is located in a remote rural area that is developing. The home is newly updated and completely furnished with all that you will need. During the day, you can enjoy the views or access Belton Lake through various parks throughout the season. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking appliances and spices. The living space is perfect for relaxation or playing board games provided. In the evening, you can grab a blanket to cozy up by the fireplace outside on the patio.

Whatever you choose to do, we are sure you will feel right at home!

NOTE: This home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. It does NOT include the 4th bedroom. For extra parties, the guest house with a 4th bedroom and full bathroom is available for an additional cost of $125/night + a one time $65 clean fee. Please message us prior to booking if you and your guests are interested in securing this space.

Other important items to note prior to your stay:


Owl Creek Hideaway is tucked away on the north side of Belton Lake. Due to our slightly remote location, the wifi signal can be weak from time to time.

As the property is on a cliff and not fully fenced in, please take caution especially with pets and younger children. We do not have lake access and highly discourage exploring beyond the cliff as the terrain is unpredictable and unsafe.

In addition, wildlife, snakes and insects (spiders, wasps, bees, flies, mosquitos, gnats) are very common in the area since we are near water and trees- especially during the summertime. We do have our home treated consistently through the year to help reduce the incidence of bugs, but are unable to control the natural elements surrounding the home. We ask that guests be vigilant by keeping doors closed, food covered and trash picked up as we will not be responsible for any injuries during your stay.

We do provide life jackets along with a SUP board, a kayak, and some inflatables. Do ensure that equipment is strapped down properly when transporting - you will be response for any damage. Use these at your own risk and only when weather conditions permit.
