Perfect for families or guests seeking an easygoing retreat, this spacious condo with a wraparound balcony brings the comfort and common space! You'll love hanging out in the living room with comfortable seating and a flatscreen TV. Central air conditioning will help everyone settle, and there's a ceiling fan in each bedroom to cool things down to your own preferences. When everyone's ready to hang out, cook up something tasty in the full kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and enough room for five guests to enjoy a meal at the breakfast bar. Don't worry about big suitcases - the private washer/dryer will help you cut back on packing.

What's nearby:
The beach is just under a half mile away. Don't forget to stop at The Back Porch for some coconut shrimp once you arrive! Henderson Beach State Park offers clear waters with plenty of wildlife to observe (and fish to catch!) just over one-and-a-half miles from the condo. Gator Beach, just over two miles from the condo, hosts free shows and exhibitions featuring one of Florida's most famous animals, including a rare albino alligator.

Vacation at Beach Walk

We had an awesome experience! The condo was very nice. Three out of four of the TV’s did not work. I talked to guess services and they took care of it right away! The air conditioning was the best ever! It was an excellent choice for us!

My little stay at the get away

Unsure of how I feel. Great location and checking in was a breeze. Don't recommend for a person with back or knee issues. No option to choose ground floor unit and I was at the top on the 3rd floor. Bedroom I was assigned to had platform beds and I was very uncomfortable and in pain my whole stay. Bathtub were smaller that your standard tub not suitable for someone 300+ to sit in. Bedding smelled like sweat and hair was on the mattress. Not sure if I will rent with this company again.. at least not for the price it cost me to be miserable.

My little stay away in Destin

Overall my stay here was ok. Several things i had issues with was....1. The bedroom with the 2 full sized beds were platform beds very low to the ground. ( not good for a person like me that has back and knee issues. 2. One of the wristband was already broken and they didn't not replace it. 3. The unit was not cleaned properly. The beding smelled like sweat. 4. I'm m a big girl (300) and the bathtub were not regular sized..5. There was not an option to choose a downstairs unit for people that may have a hard time climbing stairs. 6. Multiple remotes that you have to try and figure out witch one to use for the television. If they fix some of those issues this would be a great vacation spot.

I liked that there was a pond close by with tons of turtles. Also, how everything was clean, nice, and big. What I didn’t like was that the house kind of smelled of smoke when you first enter but after a while you got used to it.

Enjoyed our stay, place needs updating

Condo was adequate for our stay. Front bedroom sliding door does not lock. Both sliding doors to balcony need to be replaced. Main room tv remotes are dead, and/or nearly dead, making it difficult to watch any type of entertainment. Kitchen is well-stocked with cooking supplies but everything we used had to be run through the dishwasher first. Also, miscellaneous appliance parts with no corresponding parts to make them useful. Loved the plug-in griddle. Closet light in back bedroom with 2 beds did not function. No side table light in front bedroom. Lamp in back bedroom with 2 beds not functional. A little apprehensive about the building’s contentious relationship with neighboring parties regarding beach access. Also, photos online do not reflect current furnishing. Unit was adequate for our stay, but definitely needs updates in security and aesthetics.

Family Vacay

The property was nice and our rental was as pictured. We were close to everything. We used the grill and it was too cold to get in the pool. There were issues that I reported and they were taken care of and there were some I didn’t report. Cleaning could be a little better in some areas. I love the fact that there were pans and utensils to use and we did bring some of our own butUnder the cabinet where the pans are need to be really cleaned out as there were pots and pans that needed to be cleaned or thrown away. Overall we would stay again and request a first floor rental.

Disappointing vacation

We were very unhappy with the check in process, the charge of our auto in the parking lot, the TVs that oinly worked on Netflix, no place to get ice, and the outside of the place (stairs, etc.) was filthy. We left a day early!

Beach getaway

I was thankful we were on the third floor so we could see the water from our unit. When checking in, there aren’t unit numbers available and it’s a little tricky to find if you have never been to Destin before. Once we found it though, it was always easy. The walk to the beach was easy, however the gate code to get in was incorrect. The unit itself was dated but clean. Loved having two full bathrooms and a half bath with 7 of us in the unit. My biggest complaint was that there were barely any outlets that held a cord securely. The tv’s were tricky to figure out, the one in the master bedroom was unusable as none of the remotes worked with it (not a huge deal). Biggest tip for other renters: bring garbage bags, dishwasher AND laundry soap and dish cloth (if you don’t like using sponges and don’t want to use one designed for your body). The management will only give you the small starter pack of two pods of each detergent and two garbage bags. Had we known this we would have brought some from home and not had to buy it all and haul back home. Overall, our experience was actually pretty good. The code to get in and out of the unit is genius. No cards to loose! We rented the chairs from the beach and only had one day that people broke the rule of sitting in front of the beach chairs, but they were very friendly so we didn’t mind.

Fun family trip

Overall the experience was great. The property is older but was very clean. The location is great and it is close to a lot of activities. My one complaint is that our checkout time was for 10:00. We started carrying out things to the car at 9:00 just to be sure to get everything done on time. The cleaning ladies showed up at our door at 9:05. When I told them that we weren't quite ready to check out they just continued to stand outside of the closed door. We proceeded to the car and when we came back to continue loading and getting ready for departure, they were inside the unit. We basically were forced to leave an hour early. That was my only complaint.

Nearby Everything

The location of this condo is perfect if you want to stay in the heart of Destin. Everything was less than 15mins from us even with the horrible traffic! This location is close to the beach but we actually drove to the parking lot behind the location and walked from there to the beach. I would definitely recommend renting chairs on the beach ahead of time because there were condo rental chairs as far as you could see and the rules state you can not sit in front of the rental chairs. All of the chairs were rented for the rest of the week when we arrived. I haven’t traveled much since Covid but there was no salt/pepper or cooking spray etc so buy that ahead of time.
