This home is less than 15 minutes from the Reagan National Airport (DCA), National Mall, White House, MGM Resort and National Harbor. It's also a short 10 minute drive to Capitol Hill, Nationals Park and Audi Field. The Minnesota Ave Park and Ride Metro station is a quick 3 minute drive away. Up to 6 guests can enjoy this beautiful space. Wifi is provided along with Roku TVs. The property is located on a relatively quiet one block residential street. The kitchen includes pot, pans and utensils.

This listing is usually fully booked on other Short Term Rental sites, as a result, we have not had our first booking from VRBO, but are looking forward to hosting you! Send us a message if you're interested in ratings and reviews from past guest.

Convenient Location

House was pretty easy to find. The off street parking made a huge difference as the streets were always packed. Super close to the metro stops too. Only downside is the kitchen has very minimal pots, pans, and baking sheets for cooking.

Perfect setup!

Very clean and a great layout with the master bedroom upstairs and kids downstairs! Owners were very nice and responsive. The metro was only a few miles away which made downtown stress free. Hopefully we can make it back next year!

Close to Downtown with Parking!

We stayed at Norma’s property for my parents 65th birthday and it was me, my husband, and both my parents! I loved that everything was so close to downtown DC and there was a free parking space that made it sooo easy for us! The check in process and alarm system made the whole house feel very safe. I thought the neighborhood was a little sketchy at first, but it turned out totally fine. The whole house itself was decorated so beautifully! But the layout was not what I expected. It was 1 bedroom on the first floor with a bathroom and a hallway kitchen and then a living room with a smart TV. The other bedrooms are downstairs and there’s a mini office set up, and 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The first 2 bedrooms had twin beds with very uncomfortable mattresses. The last room was a queen bed and was very very comfortable! Norma and Victoria were wonderful hosts! Super responsive and very easy to work with! Any issue we had they would respond right away!

Inaccurate Bed Listing

I chose this property based on the "Rooms & Beds" large type in the listing, since we were bringing 4 grandchildren ages 10-16 who don't like to sleep with each other. Two days before we were to arrive, I reviewed the entire listing, and opened up the small "see more" at the bottom of the listing, only to find that the bed listing there was totally different for 2 of the 4 bedrooms. In bedrooms 3 and 4, instead of the listed 1 king, and 1 king and 1 twin, there were 1 twin, and 1 twin. The manager had no reply to this, and never apologized, nor called. She still has not changed the listing. Also, one bedroom with a twin has a box spring for a mattress. Very uncomfortable. No hand towels for the bathrooms, no kitchen dish scrubber, and no drain stopper for 1 of the bathtubs. Otherwise, the property is nice. They do allow guests to leave unused food necessities, and we did the same.

16-20 Minute Drive from National Mall

The property is exactly as listed online. The pictures are accurate. It was exactly what we needed as a family of 4 there to tour the DC area. It was about a 16-20 minute drive to the National Mall area each day as we stayed in that area to visit the monuments and tour a couple of Smithsonian museums. The drive was close and the off-street parking in the back of the townhouse was convenient. The neighbors were friendly and the host and co-host were super responsive. I loved the set up of the main bedroom/bath on the first floor and the 3 beds and bathrooms on the bottom/basement. It worked perfectly for the kids to have their space and we have ours at the top. Overall, it was what we needed for our stay!
