Cozy home near Asheville with EV charger. Won’t you be my neighbor?

A great place to relax and enjoy after a fun day exploring the area. Just 15 min. from downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum & Lake Powhatan. Also 20 min. from the Biltmore Estate and only 40 min. from Hendersonville.

The house is cozy enough for a couple’s romantic getaway but also has plenty of sleeping areas to accommodate a large family’s vacation. We have a big flat yard perfect and safe for kids and families to enjoy.

This property was a wonderful choice for our family of four during our trip to Asheville for a baseball tournament! The owners thought of everything...easy to check in and out, fully equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again any time we are in the area!

Perfect for any length of stay

The beautiful small house with a big porch was very well designed and comfortable, even with visitors, since it has two full baths. In our case the Tesla universal EV charger was a great bonus. We greatly enjoyed our two month stay, and took advantage of the location central to the extensive mountain hiking and Asheville culture.

Great stay

Loved the location. Perfect for spending some time in Asheville and visiting Smokey Mountains NP. House was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed the stay!

Great house, location & owners!

We love staying at this property! We’ve visited multiple times and have a great experience every time. Not only is the house very clean, but it is also well furnished/stocked with everything you need. No need to bring extras with you for the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, etc. The owners are very responsive and kind! Highly recommend this rental.

This little piece of heaven - is just that! Host(s) are the best as well - I am a fairly critical person, more than anyone I know - and when I find something good, it's GREAT and I stick with it! There will be MANY more stay at this location - LOVE IT! Jason

Great outside areas for kids and to relax in. Very comfortable layout. Our second time staying there and will return next year. Property owners very professional and attentive.

Great spot near a great wedding venue!

We rented this place out to host some of our family who were travelling to the area to attend our wedding a few minutes away at "The Farm--A gathering place." They were super happy with their stay here and it was really convenient for them to get to and from the wedding venue. The hosts were on top of everything and great communicators. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who wants to stay in the area!

Wonderful house. Wonderful hosts.

Amazing stay. Hosts were incredibly helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay. They really went above and beyond. The house is great. Huge lawn area and wraparound porch gave our kids plenty of room to run around and play.

Very enjoyable. Nice country house but near services, stores, etc. Easy access to freeway & Biltmore Estate. Nice veranda around house ! Plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture. Very nice place.

Heaven on a little piece of Earth!

If I could write about a relaxing, "alone'ish" weekend - where it was serene, calm, extremely comfortable - I would have written about my stay here, this past weekend! I have traveled and have been to many places - but Asheville, NC checks MANY of the "dots" many people would be looking for! Beyond that, this house - and the Host's - could not have been better - accomodations, directions and common sense "instructions" - were above PAR. I loved and enjoyed Asheville and I will definate;ly be back - but bringing me back is also the experience I had with the Host(s) and this little "house of Heaven"!

Magical weekend in a winter wonderland!

We had a day and a half to explore the Asheville area, and then a day and half snowbound in a cozy cabin. The big yard was the perfect place to play in the snow for our two young granddaughters. The large "basket" swing was fun before the snow and was magical for girls during and after! The owners communicated well about the upcoming storm and were very thoughtful in helping us prepare. The cabin was plenty large enough for 5 of us and very well stocked. The kitchen amenities included everything we needed and more and the extra touches like local coffee, chocolates and soft drinks made it very special! Would highly recommend and stay there again if we have the opportunity.

Perfect Christmas getaway!

Loved the house. Cabin feel but spacious. We lacked for nothing & owners thought of everything. We would stay here again! Close proximity to all things Asheville. Private, quiet. We didn't bring kids but the outdoor space is spectacular for kids & the whole fam! Struck us as a primo spot year round! They even had it all decorated inside & out for Christmas (including Christmas cookies!) We didn't want to go home! Thank you so much!

Cozy Cottage Escape

Our stay at Lacey and Elijah's property was exactly the sanctuary we needed for our first vacation with a toddler. Close enough to explore Asheville, but far enough that it still felt like a Retreat. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and full of insight into kid-friendly activities in the area. 10/10 would stay again!

Cottage retreat - A Real Treat!

We loved our visit at the Candler house. The house was immaculate, and amenities were very thoughtful. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. Many sweet visiting areas to enjoy company or solitude. And the house is right near many fun places to visit or eat. We hope to come back again soon! Carol & Kevin
