Welcome to Fisherman's Cottage, one of our 40 four-star holiday cottages bearing the La Clef Decamp label.

We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible, and for this reason we offer the following services:

The fisherman's cottage offers a breathtaking view of the bay of Mont Saint-Michel from all rooms of the house, the terrace and the garden.

This cozy cottage is located on the cliffs of Champeaux, known for being the most beautiful kilometer in France. Enjoy access to the beach or nearby hiking trails where you might encounter seals, harbor seals or dolphins! You want to live an extraordinary experience. Then, embark with a local, licensed guide for a walking tour of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel. Relive the age-old custom of pilgrims who reached the Mount on foot.

In each of our cottages you will find:

Four hours from Paris: accessible by car, bus or train

Direct train connection from Paris:

Gare Montparnasse → Granville (15 km from the gîte)

To access the cottage from Granville: take a taxi or rent a vehicle.



Parking instructions:

You can park in the large free car park located to the left of the delightful restaurant “La Grange de Tom”, at the bottom of Route Sol Roc, at the address 40 Route des Falaises 50530 Champeaux.

Parking in front of the cottage is not permitted, under penalty of receiving a fine, as the cliff is protected.

However, you can park for a few minutes on the street to unload your luggage in front of the house, and then park in the car park mentioned above. (See welcome booklet)



This cottage is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Less than 5 minutes away The town of Saint-Jean-le-Thomas is within driving distance, where you will find all the necessary local shops: bakery, mini-market, restaurants, local market.



On the tourism side, the town offers direct access to the beach where you can go clamming, spectacular views of the bay of Mont Saint-Michel and many coastal paths (GR223), including the famous Cabane Vauban.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION





Arrival : Arrival time at the cottage is scheduled for 6 pm, subject to availability. Early arrival is an optional service available for an additional fee. (See welcome booklet)



Departure : Departure time is scheduled for 10:00 AM, but can be changed subject to availability with a late departure, an optional service at an additional cost. (See welcome booklet)



Access to the cottage: Your arrival is self-check-in; you will find a key box (see welcome booklet). The day before your stay, you will receive an email requesting a €1000 security deposit, which will be held on your credit card (please ensure you have sufficient funds available). This hold will not be debited from your account; it will simply be blocked for 7 days. You will then find the key box codes in your guest account.



Iron : Fires and barbecues are prohibited on the cliff. A griddle is available for your use in a kitchen unit. (See welcome booklet)



Coffee maker: The cottage is equipped with several coffee makers, to find out the type refer to the welcome booklet and inventory booklet.



Dishes : The tableware is suitable for approximately 15 people and includes everything needed to set a beautiful table. (See inventory booklet)



Products: A sponge, a dishcloth, a roll of toilet paper per toilet, a little dish soap, and 2 or 3 dishwasher tablets will be provided free of charge to help you get your stay off to a good start. Please plan to purchase additional supplies later. (See welcome booklet)





Our sales team based in Villedieu les poêles is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm.
