INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Last minute vacation

We booked this last minute and had a quick response from the owners. The condo was exactly what it said it was going to be. The check in process was a nightmare as one of the staff basically did not help us We drove 18 hrs to get there from Ontario. And then we were literally 4 hrs trying to get a hold of owners, Panhndle and VRBO. Two days after we got there we dealt with new front desk staff and a manager that were excellent to deal with. They were very apologetic about the service we reviewed and were able to give us an extended check out time and also gave us complimentary tickets for an outing. Beautiful place, beautiful pool, beautiful beach and would stay again. To be honest I had read other reviews that said the check in was a nightmare I just figured it was a one off but likely it happens more than to one family . Panhandle maybe you could look at your check in procedures and see if it could be made less confusing Great place to stay though, would stay again

Very clean. Great view of the beach, ocean and sunset. As well as Pier Park. Loved having a large balcony. You don’t usually get that with other condos that are located right on the beach. Even though this was not right on the beach it felt like it with the views. The pool was really nice. And so convenient to our condo. Liked having the tiki bar, coffee shop, ice cream right there. The only issues I had was with the facility. Not our host. Issues were, they changed the pool key code on the second day without letting us know. And when I went down on the day of checkout to get a luggage cart, there was someone there collecting drives license/ID to take a cart. This was a little frustrating since I came all the way down to get one without my ID. So I had to go back to the room. This wouldn’t bother me if I had known before. But there wasn’t anyone there when we checked in or even the whole time we were there collecting ID’s until the day we were leaving. Carts were just free to take at all times. Again these were issues with the resort, not our condo host. So I still give this 5 stars. Just hoping this helps the next renters.

Great Choice

As a last minute booking the property was great a small hiccup when checking in but the management was very quick to fix and compensate us. During our trip guest services remained in contact to ensure we had everything we needed. Was easy access to beach and right in the middle of everything.
